wherein chaeyoung began telling the life she had with jungkook.

Chaeyoung couldn't help but smile at Jungkook with tears threatening to fall from her eyes. The sight of him infront of her felt too surreal, she felt as though she was on cloud nine as the man opposite to where she stands continuously utter words that she can guarantee will never leave the depths of her thoughts, ever.

It wasn't long till it was her turn to speak. She chuckled slightly before opening the piece of paper in her hand as she brings the mic she's holding with the other close to her lips.

She eyed Jungkook for a moment, giving him the sweetest smile she could ever give.

'Here goes nothing', Chaeyoung thought to herself before finally gathering all her feelings to speak.

"It wasn't that time when we crossed paths at kindergarten back then when our heights didn't have such a big gap as it does now. Though, that wasn't the most fortunate moments, since both our heads bumped with each other from your awful clumsiness."

"I found myself in a trance at that moment, from glaring to gawking at your face. My flaring eyes was met with yours. Those eyes of yours that were in the verge of tears yet the softest and most tantalizing pair of honey brown I've ever seen."

"I felt captured, reading your eyes as it reflected that of a little lost boy then I smiled, offered my hand and introduced myself whilst you reluctantly gave in to grasp my hands with yours."

Hi, my name is Chaeyoung. What's your name?

"My gaze never left your eyes, I watched before you as it went from teary eyed to filled with joy. Up until that moment I could've sworn that those pair of eyes of yours will, to this day, be my favourite colour."

"It wasn't that time when we both fought off the people who continuously tease you and i, we ended up getting in trouble that day. Jungkook, do you remember?"

Chaeyoung bit her lip, staring at a nodding Jungkook whose nose and ears are red from wanting to cry. She swore to herself in her head, she begged her eyes to not let her tears fall.

"And as your grandmother give you a whole lecture, you had your pretty brown eyes locked with mine. I was sure you weren't paying attention to your grandmother at all, I knew because while she was fuming, your lips formed a sweet grin."

"You were smiling, displaying those pearly white bunny teeth of yours to none other than me. Your eyes turning into crescent moons as you did so, and eventhough I was a lot of steps away from you, my eyes could still very much see your little dimples, cute little ones that isn't as deep as others but it made my heart ache in a good way."

Chaeyoung laughed slightly, thinking about how cheesy her words are but when she glanced at Jungkook who wore the same smile from years ago, she couldn't help but continue.

"You were grinning from ear to ear and your eyes was filled with joy, as if you don't regret anything."

'Just like that' she thought.

"It felt like it was just us at that moment, like we were on top, at the very center of the world. We were the happiest we could ever be even after it all."

'Just like this' she whispered.

"Before you went home, you promised to never leave me. That's when I knew, your smile is my favourite memory."
