Human minds are a very sophisticated item. They function on nerves, emotions, and well, nature. But yet they are very simple. They only believe in things that seem reasonable. And for that reason, most people reading this won't believe this story.

"UM," Alien Bob, the first main person of this story, yelled to her personal alien robot.
Um just turned her head, as she was programmed to. Alien robots were very simple. They did as they were told, and only said two words after completing whatever it was they were told to. Those two words being, " Mission Complete."
" I have been told by the Alien Commander to complete a mission down on the most wretched planet there is, Earth. I was wondering if you would be interested in coming along, as it would get the mission done faster and I wouldn't be lonely."
Alien Bob, being absent-minded, forgot that alien robots cannot have their personal opinions. She also is very short-tempered when she forgets stuff that the normal alien wouldn't.
" UM! RESPOND TO ME," she screamed.
" I have no ability to make decisions."
" Fine. You're coming with me."
This response was no surprise. They were inseparable for 1 human year, which is equal to 5 alien years. No other alien in their small town, Stupidville, quite understood why one of the most successful aliens at missions was still willing to have an alien robot always with her. Alien robots weren't exactly a thing that a superior town like Stupidville usually have. They are usually given back to one of the poorer planets after they are done being used to train their assigned alien for 6 months, but Alien Bob insisted keeping this one.
" I will not complete any more missions for you, Alien Commander, if I'm not granted permission to keep this robot."
"Fine. You are a very successful alien for this planet, and successful aliens are allowed some exceptions."
" Thank you, kind sir."
Alien Bob was very brave for doing this. The best of the best aliens were thrown out of the mission field because they pulled something like this. Alien Bob was an exception not because she became good friends with her boss, but has a very odd talent, but it's more like a power. She is able to say something in her head and if she keeps eye contact for 10 seconds with a person, the same thought will be transferred to that said person. This is a thing that Alien Bob was granted because she was born of the nebula star, meaning she was under that specific star that only appears once a year when her birth happened.
"Um," Alien Bob said ready to start her next command.
Um turns her head again, as she is programmed to do.
"We are leaving in a week to complete our mission on Earth. I'm not sure you were told what this mission is. We were informed of a capturing of aliens in a narrow piece of land."
Alien Bob shows her alien robot the piece of land where they are planning on landing.
"As you can see, this should be a pretty easy landing. The hard part would be getting into the facility where the aliens are being kept captive. This said facility is titled, ' Area 51.' It is known to be a very tightly secured area, but we both know that American security is no match for our superior galactic gear."
Um generates this information incase her commander forgets. Most alien robots don't know their commander well enough to know what they will forget and what they won't, but they aren't usually kept for 5 years with the same assigned alien.
" I will need to pack all my necessities along with the gear and maps of this facility. Since you are an alien robot, you should be able to tell me the coordinates of places we need to go after one short look at these maps Alien Commander has provided."
Um just looks at her again, but still processes and stores the information incase of Alien Bob's forgetful mind.
" Okay Um. We will gather for service from a week from now. As for fun, that normally happens randomly."
So Alien Bob heads to her pod on Successful Street as Um heads to her pod next door. They were both ready for this new adventure, as they have been on many before. But little do they know this one wouldn't be as smooth.
