It had been a few years since the final battle had ended. I don't think of that time anymore. I focus more on where I am going to go next. You see, ever since the final battle I have been exploring other countries to get to know the way things are run in other magical communities. A lot of people didn't like this idea but I didn't let them stop me.
While I have been exploring I have been honing my skills. My skill with weapons is already completely perfect so I have been perfecting my magic for the last few years. I have become closer to my magical core and I learned it was very protective of me. I find it quite endearing.
One day, while I was going through different spells that have been forgotten, I came upon a spell that seemed to deal with inter-dimensional travel. After making sure the spell worked, I planned what universe I would transport myself to. After going through some universes in my head, I realized there was only one universe where I was going to be able to tap into the power of that world. This universe is Hunter x Hunter. In this world everyone has Nen, they just have to unlock it. Another plus is that I would be able to find new creatures!
After I was set on the universe, I packed some supplies. I made sure to pack my wand, my clothes, my spellbooks, and some books that would sate some boredom at times. I kept all of this inside my new trunk.
The trunk I have has several enlargement charms on it so that I can fit anything I need and still have room for some more. I also have a separate compartment where I keep all of the magical creatures I save. I made sure that these creatures were okay with going to the new universe. If any of them didn't want to go I made sure they found a good habitat and let them thrive there.
After getting everything packed into my trunk, I started prepping the ritual. This ritual needed many different ingredients and a lot of those ingredients were very rare. It took me about four months to get all of the ingredients ready for the ritual.
After everything was set up for the ritual, I made sure I had everything I needed for the journey. After checking and finding everything where it was meant to be, I started the ritual. The whole ritual took about three hours to complete. A lot of chanting happened in those three hours.
All of a sudden I blinked and I was in a field by a big tree. I checked my pocket to make sure my shrunk trunk was with me. Thank Merlin that it was. If it didn't come with me a lot of things could've gone wrong.
As soon as I was sure my trunk was in my pocket, I looked around the area I was in. I could see that there was a cabin right next to this tree I appeared under. It took me a few seconds to register that this is the top of the mountain from the second episode of Hunter x Hunter.
Suddenly a huge smile appeared on my face, "IT WORKED!" I yelled in triumph. As soon as this came out of my mouth, however, I knew that I was going to be found in under a few seconds.
Less than a second passed and all of a sudden I was surrounded by the navigators also from the second episode. Thankfully they didn't seem hostile at the moment they just seemed confused.
I look at them with a smile on my face, "Hello! My name is Keeden!"
The navigators just looked at me. "How did you get up here without us sensing you human?" The navigators asked.
"If I told you that you wouldn't believe me. So I will just say Hatsu?" I said in a questioning tone because I currently forgot the steps to Nen. Very convenient.
This seems to shock them even more because they can still feel my aura.
"Can you just take me to the exam site? I really need to get there cause I currently don't know if it has already begun or not." I say, impatient because I want to become a hunter and fast.
The navigators decided since I was able to appear without them even sensing me that I was a fit candidate for a Hunter.
A few hours later and we were in front of the exam site. Before I knew it I was in the big elevator room going down to the starting area for the exam.
While the elevator was going down I made sure everything was in place. My wand in my holster around my wrist underneath my sleeve. I made sure I had some healing potions in my pockets, and I also made sure I looked presentable.
As soon as the elevator hit the 100th floor I was ready for anything. The doors opened slowly into a big room. This room looked like a huge sewer. In this room were about 100 people.
When I walked into the room everyone's eyes looked over to me. I just ignore them and look for Bean, the one who would give me my badge.
I didn't have to wait long because I quickly got my badge number. The number I got was 109. When I saw this I realized that Killua must have already been here. This made me smirk lightly.
Sadly, my mood went way downhill as soon as Tonya walked up to me. Before he even had a chance to talk to me, I walked away from him. This seemed to shock him and a lot of other people.
I didn't pay much attention to this and just found a place to sit down. When I was comfortable I pulled out my favorite book and started reading it.
About ten minutes later I could feel someone staring at me. I didn't look for them, seeing as that would tell them I knew they were staring. I just smirked and continued reading.
After this, I got ready for the long wait that was ahead of me.
