It was raining hard as I slid past the defender, I dribbled up into the goalie box and shot to the lower left-hand corner of the goal, a direct hit! My team cheered for me as they carried me off the pitch, I looked down at my younger brother Bobby, he smiled up at me, and I could hear my other brothers cheering from the bleachers. John was holding Drew on his shoulders and Joe was standing next to them, all three cheering their asses off. I was soaked to the bone but didn't give a damn, my team won! I was set down near my bag and grabbed my bottle before heading to the showers. After changing I met my brothers in the parking lot, the rain had finished but the pavement was still wet.

"Jay! That was amazing!" John exclaimed and pulled me in for a hug. I love my brothers, all for of them, But John has got to be the bravest and strongest man I've ever met. My parents died five years ago, and since John was 18, he gained custody of us, well it took two more years before he got Joe and Drew. Hes got a steady job but works long hours, so the responsibility of taking care of the others falls to me. I'm seventeen, a senior at Lime High, I play for the soccer team and I'm in the school choir, solo singer too. My brother Robert (Bobby) is my twin, I'm older by two minutes and I never let him forget it. Bobby also has a job at the local body shop, to help John pay the bills. Joe is fifteen, hes a freshmen, hes got a talent for singing, but decided to join the basketball team. Then there's Drew, hes ten and I would have to say my favorite brother. Hes so sweet and is a big help around the house, he always listens and hes super smart, he is in seventh grade, yes at ten! I told you hes smart, like wicked smart. Anyway, back to the day, We all piled into the back of the SUV and rode home. To say the ride home was a peaceful one would be a lie, Drew and Joe argued about Whos turn it was to pick the movie tonight, Bobby had the radio blasting some pop song (Not my style) And John was yelling over the phone with his ex-girlfriend, that girl just can't take a hint. I chuckled to myself and plugged in my headphones, getting lost in Guns 'n' Roses awesome sound. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the window, tapping my foot in time with the beat. Before long I'm being literally dragged out o the car. I open my eyes and see Drew standing there looking impatient.

'Sup Bugs?" I asked, using his nickname from his earlier years, he had a strange obsession of Bugs Bunny.

"I'm hungry and Johnny said its your turn to cook." I chuckle.

"Its always my turn to cook." He just smiled and ran inside. I sighed and grabbed my bag walking up the stairs to my room. I would loose my mind if I didn't have my own room, I swear. Its not the tipical girl's room either, It has white walls, a black bedspread, forest green curtains, a bathroom off to one side, My bed was close to the window which had a window seat. I know, its dark colors, but I never liked pink, or any bright colors like that. I throw my bag into my closet and change into yoga pants and a black tanktop. I slide down the banister and slide into the kitchen, I love socks! John was in the livingroom trying to help Drew and Joe agree on a movie, I turn the corner and see Bobby dancing to Demi Lovato's Here We Go Again, in his jeans and no shirt.

"We're falling together, you think that by now I'd know, becuase here we go go go again!" He belts into the broom. I came up behind him and screamed into his ear.

"HERE WE GO AGAIN!" He jumped and fell on his ass, me laughing at the sight of him.

"JAY! Not cool, you shouldn't interupt a master at work." I giggled and helped him up.

"Well if the master would like to eat, he needs to get out of the kitchen." He smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Your the best twin ever!" he then skipped, yes skipped, into the livingroom. I pulled out a pot and filled it with water, setting it on the stove, I pulled out a smaller pot and got out the milk, cheese and flour. Nothing says victory like home-made mac 'n' cheese. As I'm chopping up the cheese, John comes in looking exausted.

"Hey Johnny, did they compromise?" He sighed and opened the fridge, putting the milk away and getting out a can of soda.

"Yea, they agreed with Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the Ring."

"oh thats a good one." He just nodded. He then walked over to the table and picked up his phone that was buzzing.

"Hello?" "Yes this is him." "He got what!" No, no he didn't tell me," "Yes I'll be there at five." "Thank you." He hung up and looked pissed, at least I know its not about me, he said 'he' so I'm safe.

"Everything alright John?" He shook his head.

"That was Lime, Joe got into another fight today...what am I going to do with that kid." He sighed and sat on a stool at the island.

"Again? thats the fifth one this month." I said worriedly. Joe has always been a bit rebellious. We just thought he'd grow out of it.

"I have a parent teacher conference tomorrow at five, would you be able to take Drew to Kim's house?"

"Sure, but I don't understand why he needs a tutor, that kid is a fucking genius." John chuckled and got up to get the bowls, he then set them on the counter and pulled me into a hug.

"Thank you..so much Jay, your a big help." I hugged back and smiled.

"I have to be, if I wasn't then who knows how fucked up this place would be." He chuckled and released me to serve the boys.

Yup, just a normal day in the Johnson's house. I wouldn't trade this life for anything.
