~Jay's POV~
I woke up to a bright light, blinking a few times, my eyes adjusted to the light and I found myself in a hospital bed. Why am I here?
"Mom? Dad?" I asked, looking around, some guys face came into view, that's not Mom or Dad.
"Hey Jay, how you feelin'?" The guy asked, he looked about my age, but I don't recognize him.
"My name's not Jay." I said hesitantly. An older guy then joined in.
"Its your nickname, remember? I gave it to you when you would chase the blue jays around the yard." I just stared at them.
"Whats wrong with her John?" The first guy asked.
"The doctor said she may have lost some of her memory due to the impact." the second guy, John, said.
"Do- do I know you guys?" I asked softly.
The first guy looked hurt, "I'm Bobby, remember? Your twin?" Now I felt guilty, I didn't remember him, well I remember his face, I had seen it before but the name was unfamiliar.
"Whats goin' on? Is she awake?" Another boy asked. He sat up from his chair and stared at me, Those eyes, I know those baby blue eyes.
"J-Joey?" He smiled and ran to me, tackling me in a hug. I remembered him, my little brother, We were very close.
"Your alright!" He was crying into my shoulder and I held him closer.
"Its alright baby, I'm fine." I said.
"Eh, well mostly, how come you remember him?" Bobby asked. I just shrugged.
"I think its because we were very close before...whatever happened, so I remember him."
"Not fair! I'm your twin." Bobby pouted.
I laughed at him, "Oh Bobby, I'm glad we don't share the same room or I wouldn't hear the end of it..." I stopped, I remembered! I remembered!
"You remember that?" Bobby asked, as shocked as I was. I nodded and smiled.
"I remember everything! My crash, you guys, mom and dad...mom and dad." I said softly. John walked over and sat on the edge of my bed.
"We miss them too, Jay, but at least your alright now." I smiled and he hugged me.
"Jay Jay?" A small voice said behind Bobby. Drew's face peaked around him and a smile grew on his face. We all piled in for a group hug, I love my boys and I couldn't imagine life with out them.
Two days later....
I'm finally going home! I can't wait to see my room again...for some reason I'm picturing dark colors, but I'm sure that its just Bobby's room I'm thinking of. We parked outside a cute small white house, a forest lay just behind it. I suddenly got memories of playing in the back yard and in the trees with Bobby, but surely that must not be true, Its all muddy and yucky out there. We walk through the front door and John and Bobby followed me into my room.
"This can't be right." I said, this room was black and green, I love pink and bright colors, not dark colors.
"Bobby, wheres my room?" I asked, he looked confused.
"This IS your room Jay." I shook my head.
"it can't be, wheres the pink? The bright happy colors." John stepped forward.
"You've always hated pink, even as a child Jay, you like dark colors like this, Black and Forest green are your favorite." he said with a smile.
"Please, call me Janice, Jay is too...uh, well its not my thing." John looked confused but nodded and he and Bobby left me to my thoughts. I sighed, I guess I'll leave the room the way it is, but at least I have nice clothes. I opened my closet and frowned, was I a tomboy or what! Everything was black grays and green and navy blue. Not a single pink thing in this damn closet! All my shoes were hiking boots, sneakers and cleats! Where were the heels? The wedges? the ballet flats?
The door bell rung and I ran down the stairs to get it. "I GOT IT! I heard someone else yell. Do they always yell? Oh shit, now I have to get used to all this all over again. I heard to guys talking, one was Bobby, that I knew, but I didn't recognize the other.
"Janice! There's someone here for you!" Bobby yelled. I sighed, I didn't want anyone seeing me in these boy clothes, but I had no choice, I pulled on a black tank top and gray yoga pants. As I walked down the stairs, I could see the back of the guys head, he had gorgeous short black hair.
"What took you so long? It only takes two seconds to slide down the banister." Bobby said standing up. I stared at him strangely.
"Its rude to slide on the banister, why would I do that?" Bobby looked shocked and just left. Well yea sure leave you sister alone with a stranger in the room. The guy stood up and turned around, He had beautiful brown eyes that sparkled, and his body was toned.
"Jay, hey." Was all he said.
"its Janice and who are you?" I said harshly.
"Oh, sorry, Janice, I'm Myles, Your best friend?" he offered. I narrowed my eyes and scanned him, nothing about him was familiar, not his face, nor his name.
"I'm sorry, I don't know you." Then I walked away into the kitchen. How dare he try to pass off as my best friend, My friends were Joe and Bobby, thats all I've ever had, even at school I had no friends. I walk into the kitchen and see Bobby and John in deep conversation, wispering and things. They stopped suddenly when they saw me.
"hey Janice, I'm taking you out, your choices are, Mall or Soccer at the park." I stared at him with the 'what the fuck' face.
"The answer is obvious Bobby, Mall, I need to get some actual clothes anyway."
"Whats wrong with the ones in your closet?" John asked.
"They're boy clothes, and in case you haven't notice I'm a girl."I said, seriously, whats wrong with these guys. Bobby and John shared a look before Bobby grabbed his keys off the counter and walked out.
"Bobby!" I yell after him.
"What?" he asked, clearly he doesn't see the problem.
"I'm not dressed." he looks at my out fit and shrugged.
"Yea you are, you where that a lot." I rolled my eyes.
"maybe the old Janice did, but I'd like to look at least some what presentable." I then walked up stairs. I changed into a pair of jeans but left the tanktop and pulled on my black leather jacket, ok I'll keep the jacket and converse, but everything else must go. I spent the next five minutes looking for a purse to put my wallet in, nothing.
"Whats taking so long now! You never take this long, even in the shower." Bobby said walking into my room.
"Did I give you permission to enter?" I asked annoyed, he thinks he can just walk into my room with out permission? How did I ever survive before!
Bobby rolled his eyes and ignored my question, "What the hell you lookin' for?"
"A purse, duh." I continued my search.
Bobby chuckled, "You don't own a purse, you carry your wallet in you back pocket." I stared at the wallet in my hand, it was very similar to the ones that boys use. I sighed and put it in my back pocket along with my phone. Its deffinately time to change things around here.
~Bobby's POV~
"Now this is a shirt!" Jay squealed, correction, Janice, this person in front of me was not Jay. We've been at the mall for an hour, she denied every thing that I gave her, Jay would love to buy new cleats, new shin-guards, hell even a new hair-tie to keep it out of her face, but this person, she wants all those ripped-jeans, short tanks, skimpy clothes. This isn't Jay, this is a slut. What happened? I understand she had lost her memory, but she got that back, this is another person in my sister's body, its like she was taken over by an alien, a freaky, slutty alien. I sighed, I want the old Jay back, the one who hates the mall and would go play soccer with me...I told John that something was different with her, when he didn't believe me, I decided to test it. I asked her if she'd rather go to the mall or play soccer. She chose the mall, the Jay we knew would never EVER choose the mall over soccer. I've lost my sister, but I will stop at nothing to get her back.
