As usual Jughead was hidden in one of the many booths at Pops, typing away at an ungodly time. Occasionally stopping to snack on some fries, or take a sip from his chocolate milkshake. It was silent, except for the clicking of Jugheads keyboard. That was exactly how he like it. What was not excepted though, was the sound of bell ringing and heels clicking signaling someone had walked in.

When Jughead looked up, he felt his breathe hitch. She was beautiful. Deep brown, curly locks feel just above her shoulder, her brown eyes shining from the all the neon lights. She turned and noticed him staring, to witch he simply turned back to his laptop in a desperate attempt to hide his blush.

'Josella! Welcome! God have I missed you!' Josella immediately embraced her uncle. 'I've missed you to Pop! I'm so glad I could come and help around here. Unfortunately, I still need to go to school but I'll be around as much as I can.' Her voice was intoxicating, it was silky smooth with a slight accent that he couldn't place. Jughead was slightly confused. Who was she? Why was she? How did she know Pop? Questions ran around his head like a toy train.

'You must be hungry from such a long trip, Australia certainly isn't close by.' 'That is a fact, remind me to pack snacks, plane food is not the most delicious thing to snack on.' Ah, so that where the accent came from. 'Well, I'll make you your favourite, go sit down.' 'Thanks Pop.'

Josella noticed the beanie wearing boy and decided to sit across from him. He peered up slight, confused as to why she would sit with him. 'Hello, I'm Josella Tate, you don't mind if I sit do you?' 'No...No go ahead.'So she was a Tate. She slid in the booth, before pulling out a camera and snapping an image of the diner. Minutes past, before she started 'So, whats your name?' 'Jughead Jones the Third.' 'Oh! Your who Uncle talks about half the time, pretty sure your his favourite.' Uncle, so she was his niece. 'Ah, well this is basically my second home. May I ask why you moved all the way from Australia to live in a run down town such as Riverdale?' 'Ah, you heard that. Well recently my parents passed, and so I decided that coming here to help out Old Pop Tate would be best.' 'Oh, sorry about your parents.' 'It's fine.'

'Josella! Your meals ready.' 'Well that's my cue, outta get back and unpack.' And with that she was gone. Jughead didn't often take interest in girls, the only other was Betty, but even that was small. But Josella had caught his interest right and away, and for once couldn't wait to go to school.
