Throughout most of the worlds that we travel to by foot or by time travel, nothing is more pleasurable than discovering new worlds and places throughout the pages of a book, that we have the chance to read over and over again, to be able to travel there in our imagination and our dreams. But wouldn't it be stupendous to travel to the worlds through the books themselves, could you imagine the types of worlds out there, near the corners of the universe, the different eras we could live in. I could have been there, to the worlds you wouldn't believe was real.
Reading has always been my passion, I loved the way the authors would disguise
all of the enigma throughout the book, so you had to read it again.I know being a bookworm means that not a lot of people share your passion but the people who do become your best friends.
"Hey Skylar have you heard that there are some new books in the library?" I turned to see who was talking to me. "No, I haven't Lexi but I'm going now so I guess I'll go have a look. Do you want to come?"
Now those friends I was talking about, Well Lexi is one of them, she is the most enjoyable people to talking too. Mostly because we have the same taste in books and because she listens, or she'll eventually read it too, so we have more to talk about, other than me giving her spoilers on what is going to happen down the track.
"Sorry I can't I have stuff to do for my older brother. you remember Fletcher don't you?."
"Yeah I remember him, but it's a pity you can't come with to the library but I guess I'll see you tomorrow then.. Then we can read the book together how about that?"
"Yeah sounds good. Well see you tomorrow then" Lexi smiled brightly before she hurried in the other direction to her older brother.
As for me, I headed to the library to read. I strolled around the aisles for a bit before I caught a glimpse of the new book's title, The one Lexi was talking about. The title tickled my pickle, like it had a hidden message stashed away inside the title itself. The title announced that it was something new ' Discover somewhere new.. '.
The title was peculiar. It was like it was calling out to me, begging and pleading that I borrow it, like it need me and only me. It scared me but I felt overwhelmed, which made me borrow the book, before slowly strolled back to my dorm, in excitement and anticipation.

I sit alone at the back corner of my dorm. Where it was more peaceful and easier to read without any distractions. As I started to turn the pages of each of the chapters, I could visually start to create this whole fictional world in my head. I kept reading until I stumbled across some unearthly words, as I attempted to read them aloud the room started to drift and change around me, which caused me to question myself as I fell into nothingness. As my eyes readjusted to the lighting surrounding me, I saw a girl who would make one think that she was my twin, every detail in her face was identical to mine the only difference was that she was wearing unusual clothes. Paralyzed with fear, the girl waited, before even daring to open her mouth to speak. We were drawn towards each other and soon later dropped into oblivion. In a voice quaking with fear, I screamed. It felt like I was dropping for ages before my stomach hit something solid causing all of the air to be ripped out of my lungs. After awhile I reopened my eyes as fear clutched at my throat at the fact that I was now in a tree, in another world, in a different universe, one that my stomach didn't agree with. Scared out of my mind, I questioned why I was in a tree and how I got here when a voice next to me scared me out of my thoughts."Oi, New comer do try to keep up". The girl seemed too demanding for my liking.
