"feeelix!!!" chans mom yells to him from downstairs, he comes downstairs and he sees his mom holding a cat.

"a cat!?" chans eyes light up and he smiles.

"I know you haven't had the best life, but I want you to know that you will always have someone by your side, and that's now your cat, when I'm at work or not home, I'll be here okay? felix will make sure you're safe" she hugs him and chan smiles and nods.

"thank you mom!" he says and she smiles.

"you're welcome sweetie, now go finish your homework that I know you didn't start" she says and chan slowly backs away and he goes upstairs.

"that kid" she shakes her head and she chuckles.

her phone rings.

"hello?"

"jungsaeeee babyyyy"

"stop calling me I divorced your ass 2 months ago!" she hangs up and she sighs, she felt her chest start to hurt, but she ignored it and she sat down on the sofa and watches tv.

2 MONTHS LATER

he couldn't believe the news that he lost his mom.

"doctor, are you sure I mean-"

"we've done everything we can, I'm very sorry for your loss" the doctor says and chan hangs up the phone and throws it across the room.

chan sighs heavily, and he sees felix appear.

"you'll still be here for me right? ugh who am I kidding you're just a cat" chan gets up and he goes upstairs to his room.

PRESENT DAY

"chan this is a way for you to have fun" chans best friend namjoon says and he gets a surprise back hug from his boyfriend, and chans other best friend seokjin.

"I don't want to go to some picnic or whatever you're doing" chan closes his locker and they both look at each other.

"we know you're upset about your mom, but this is a good way to forget about it" seokjin says.

"can I bring felix?" chan asks and namjoon nods.

"come on, there's gonna be a shooting star! you could make a wish" namjoon says and felix turns around.
