Chapter One

Katie's P.O.V-

I was stuffing my books on my shelf above my desk when my mother yelled for me.

"Coming." I simply stated as I exited my bedroom and rushed down the white wooden stairs into the living room where I saw my mother waiting by the door. "What's up?"

"Well you father just called me." She said giving a weak smile, "And he wants you to go to L.A with him for the summer and stay with him and his other family"

I pursed my lips running my hands through my long black hair. "Do I really have to? I mean I don't even know him. All I know about him is his name Randy List. And his daughter and sons are fucking famous or some other shit. Honestly mom I barley know the guy."

"And that's why it would be good for you."

I sighed knowing there was no reason to argue and I began packing.

I woke up for my last day of school and I hopped in for a quick shower. When I got out I blow dried my hair and threw it in a messy bun. I brushed, mouthwashed, and flossed my teeth. I put on nude lipstick and eyeliner and mascar. I then put on a laced bra with matching underwear and a see through black laced crop top and white skinny jeans with black vans. I wasn't going to go all out besides I'm only fifteen. The most you can see is my tan times stomach.

I grabbed my iPhone 6 that my mother got me for my birthday and headed out the door for the bus.

I caught it and sat next to this dude named Bobby. He was cute for a nerd but he always helped me with my homework. He was basically my tutor except I don't pay him because he has a huge crush on me and he does it for free.

When we arrived at school I got off and went to my locker. And grabbed my biology book. I take biology even though I'm a freshman because I'm advanced in all AP classes.

I sat at my lap table with my partner Julie. she was reAlly popular and pretty. I was jealous because her boyfriend was Luke Barths. The cutest guy in ninth grade.

Everybody liked him.

"Hey Julie!" I said smiling as I dropped my bag on the floor.

She looked up from her phone. "hey Katie. Cool phone I got the 6plus" she said gloating.

I smiled Julie was really nice it's just she's a one upper but that's cool😎

It was finally the end of the day and I shut my locker and saw my bestfriend Kylie.

"So you better come to my house this summer and I mean. It." She told me.

"About that I have to go to la to my dads for the summer but hit you up when I get back promise"

"you mean the dad with three other children that abandoned you finally contacted you wanting to see you?"

"Yeah that dad. But how bad can it be right? Besides its just for the summer" I replied as we exited the school.
