Halldis's pov
Sleeping is like the best thing i do! But OFCOURSE my mother has to ruin it!.
Mom: hey do you wanna come meet the neighbors?
Me: NO IM SLEEPING GO AWAY!
Mom: well ok suit yourself!
I put my head in my pillow and scream cause she woke me up and i can't go to sleep again! I go upstairs and get something to eat. I had my hair up in a messy bun and wearing shorts and a tank top..... Cause that's usually what i sleep in. I head downstairs after eating and go to my room. I started cleaning my room. Then my mom came in my door and said she had invited they're son to come over.
Mom: hes 14 and really cute! . She winked at me
Me: moooom ugh im still wearing my sleepy clothes!
Mom: just change!
Me: AARGG
I just change and put my hair in a long braid . He knocked.
Me: COME IN!
Him: oh um hi uh this is awkward but im jeffrey.
Me: oh hi my name is halldis. I said looking in the mirror trying to finish my braid.
Jeffrey: iceland is sooo cool!
Me: boy! You haven't been here for a day!
Jeffrey: hah but i saw the northern lights! Like WOAH!
Me: don't get to excited. I say turning to his face
Jeffrey: and it's also true that icelandic girls are the prettiest!
I threw a pillow at him!. He sat on the bed and stared at my tv.
Me: HEY WANNA PLAY BUZZ?!
Jeffrey: uh sure what's that?
Me: it's a video game!
I explain the game for him and we play it a couple times . After a few games i felt hungry.
Me: jeff want something to eat?
Jeffrey: uh sure!
Me: LETS BAKE BROWNIES!
Jeffrey: OMG I LOVE BROWNIES!!
We went upstairs and got all the ingredients. Jeffrey was the top baker and i was his assistant.
Jeffrey: Assistant! Pass me the eggs!
Me: sure thing!. I said crushing a egg over his head!
Jeffrey: AAH ! YOUR GONNA PAY FOR THIS!
I ran downstairs and he after me. I run and run and finally run outside. Jeffrey saw me outside. I took a quick turn and fell on my butt . IT WAS FREEZING!. I was so wet . And worst of all he saw me!. He came running with a blanket. He was running and slipped . I grabbed him and fell on my butt..... AGAIN!.
Jeffrey: OMG IM SO SORRY AHAHAHAH
Me: if I wouldn't have fallen you would have fallen on your butt!
Jeffrey: so it's safe to say you've fallen for me!
Me: i guess you could say that hahah
As we were having that conversation a boy walks to us . ugh it was my neighbor!. I hate him!.his name is david. He's so skinny it's disturbing!. He has freckles blonde curly hair and about as tall as jeffrey but a little shorter.
David: hey halldís who's this?
Me: david this is jeffrey. I said in an annoyed tone.
Jeffrey wrapped the blanket over me.
Jeffrey: uh hi im jeffrey and im your new neighbor!
David: yeah whatever! Hey halldis wanna do something?
Me: NO? Im hangin out with jeffrey!
I stormed to my house leaving jeffrey with david.
David: IF YOU DARE FLIRT WITH HER I WILL KILL YOU! I have friends in 9th grade that can take you down!
Jeffrey: uh just so you know! Im in 9th grade dumbass
David: haha why would i think that you would flirt with her?! Your obviously gay!
Jeffrey: you know there's nothing wrong with being gay! And for a fact her brother is gay! I bet she didn't tell you that!

David ran away with jeffrey screaming.

H e came inside. He walked upstairs. And saw I finished baking. He walked to my kitchen table and sat down and said.
Jeffrey: I understand how much you hate him! I kinda find him annoying!
Me: FINALLY someone agrees with me!
Jeffrey: well he said he would kill me if I flirted with you?
Me: ugh he's obsessed with me we broke up in freaking 1st grade!
Jeffrey: so i can flirt?. He said with a smirk'
Me: flirt all you want!. I said giggling
He opened the oven and the cake was ready! We started decorating the cake with stuff and then jeffrey wrote " jeffrey + halldis" on the cake . I blushed and punched his shoulder. He leaned in to kiss me .
Me: jeffrey! I have a boyfriend! Im sorry !
Jeffrey: its ok im sorry!
Me: so should we eat?
Jeffrey: yes we shall!
We ate the cake! It was soooo good. I heard a knock. It was my boyfriend marel. He came in . I ran upstairs and told Jeffrey that my boyfriend was here!. And not to mess woith him because he's in the MMA wrestling......
Marel came upstairs and asked who he was.
Me: oh that's jeffrey my bff! He just moved in next door ! He lived in Boston!.
Marel: oh cool nice to meet you man hey can i talk to you?
Jeffrey: sure whats up
They leave me in the kitchen.......
