4 - Deal

Nick's POV:

I was about to tell y/n that I like her but I heard someone coming towards us...

Just when I was about to tell her how I actually feel...

I turned around and saw Payton, Addison and Nessa coming towards us...

great...

I was about to say something when Payton interrupted me. "Are you guys ok? I saw you guys leaving so we decided to follow you." Payton said. He looked rather worried, probably for y/n.

And you are wondering why. Payton had a crush on y/n the day he saw her, which was in like the beginning of elementary school. But they weren't as close as me and y/n or Chase and y/n, they only really talked when paired up in a project or around friends since we have the same friend group. But Well, y/n doesn't know about this but I do, because he looks at her the way I look at her...

"Yeah, we are ok, I saw Nick storming out of the room so I followed him to make sure he was ok." Y/n said in a soothing tone. But I wasn't listening and then I felt a pain in my wrists... Then I remembered that I cut a few lines earlier, which I totally didn't forget about... heh... totally not...

I looked at my wrists and saw blood through my yellow hoodie. I put my hands in my pockets so no one can see the cuts nor the blood. My thoughts were interrupted by someone's voice which dragged me out of all my thoughts...

"Should we go back home now?" said y/n as she made her way back to her car. "Sure, I'll come with you." said Payton as he made his way up to where y/n's car was. A few minutes later Addison, Nessa and I were in my car driving. And Payton and Y/n in y/n's car. I drove Addison, Nessa and back to their houses as y/n drove to her house but Payton was going to stay at y/n's place because... uhh... I don't know to be honest.

End of Nick's POV

Y/n's POV:

I was driving when Payton asked me if he could stay at my house for a few months or so because his mom was going on a business trip and her sister will be staying at her boyfriend's house so he wanted to stay at my house because he would get bored alone.

So I asked my mom and she said he could stay as long as he wanted. So we went to his house to get some clothes for him since he was staying for a week. After a few minutes I was sitting on his bed waiting for him to finish packing.

Surprisingly it took him a few minutes to pack everything he needed and we went back to my car and while I was driving we talked and got to know eachother. We actually talked about a lot of stuff like school, family, hobbies and other stuff we like to do.

We finally arrived at my house and got out of the car with Payton's stuff. We walked up to my door and I got my keys and opened the door revealing my mom and dad talking in the living room. When we got in my mom said hi calmly and so did my dad.

They walked towards us and introduced themselves to Payton as Payton did the same. And they got along pretty well actually and when I say that I mean they loved Payton. After 2 hours or so Payton and I went to my room upstairs.

My room was on the last floor but it was still really big considering that we are rich and live in a mansion.

My room:

We went into the room and Payton said "Nice room."

I said thanks and we sat on my bed and talked about stuff and played some Fortnite and he was surprised by how good I was and I told him that it was my favorite game and that I learned it from the boys in my school in 3rd grade and decided to try it and eventually it became my favorite game.

After a while it was past midnight so we went to bed. There was actually guest rooms but since everything was new to Payton I decided to offer him to stay in my room if he wants to but I also told him that we had guest bedrooms.

He luckily said that he would sleep here and he said that he would sleep on the floor. I said that it was fine if he slept in my bed because I didn't want him to get cold. He said ok.

Payton: I have a question actually...
He said a little nervous but excited.
Y/n: yeah?

Payton: do y-ou lik-e mm-me?
I was shocked.
Y/n: I, no.

I said blushing a little, he didn't notice it tho.

Payton: oh ok...
He said a little sad.

Y/n: ok let's make a deal... we can't fall for each other.
Payton: I uh... deal.
He said hesitating.

We smiled and we changed into our pijamas but Payton was shirless and then we went to bed. I woke up and Payton was still sleeping and I took a picture of him because he looks so cute while he is sleeping.

Oh, no. Am I catching feelings for him? Already? I said to myself then I realized that it was still dark outside so I checked my alarm clock that was on my bedside table and it was 2:36 am. Then I heard a loud noise and a light. I figured that it was a lightning but then I heard a really loud thunder which made me kind of jump and I accidentally woke Payton up. He rubbed his eyes and said "Awh. Is princess scared of thunderstorms?" he said in his raspy morning voice. "Yes" I said a little embarrassed.

He then opened his arms wide for me to give him a big hug. I quickly jumped in his arms and held onto him tightly. He then wrapped his arms around my waist tightly and pulled me closer to him not letting go. Not gonna lie I was pretty comfortable and I felt....safe.

He then placed a soft kiss on my forehead and said "Goodnight princess." and I said "Goodnight bubs." which caused him to smile and pull me closer to his chest. And we fell asleep cuddling for the rest of the night...
