"I fucking hate you!" You shout, grabbing the scissors as you held it up to the red string. So close to snipping the string. Danny covering their mouth in a gasp of shock

"Wha-"

"I said I FUCKING HATE YOU!" You shout, the words ringing in their head as they just looked at you dull

Yes they were hurt, of course

Their own soulmate saying they hate them was of course a horrible feeling that will shatter their heart into pieces as the fact hit them all at once

Them trying to not raise their voice, them feeling themselves tear up with a covered sob.

Them looking you in the eyes as the blades glide slightly on the red string that was supposed to connect them both

But in a situation like this, cutting it might be too far

"Y/n stop- put the scissors down!"

"Why- what are you gonna do about it? You can't always being the one making decisions for me you asshole!" You shout, your tears falling down your face as you huffed

Our relationship was.. complicated

In this section you never listened to them, while they tried to look out for you. But it never really helps

"Y/n listen to me!" They explain, you looking at them a slight glare

"I did it because you were gonna die- I care about you. I fucking love you-" Their words being cut off simply with a sharp shout

"No you fucking don't- why don't you trust me?" You say as the blade got closer

"WAIT-"

"DANNY! YOU DONT UNDERSTAND! You keep breaking my heart-" You say with a sob, Danny just furrowing their brows

"So I'm breaking your heart- you keep breaking mine. You don't ever consider my feelings?" They growl, your own feelings overwhelming. You tugged the string, pulling them forward.

"If we both are gonna break each other, how about we break this stupid string." You say as you twirl the red line in your fingers. Them feeling their heart hurting as you spewed the insults

"I just want to forget about you! I didn't want a stupid soulmate like you!" You shout, them covering their ears.

Them shaking as they felt the pain in their chest hurt even more as they tried to keep steady breathing

"You fucking promised me you would be better! We both promised!" You say as you wiped your tears as you saw the world cave in

Both your hearts cracking as the tension made the pressure go up as you both sniffled

"What a fucking waste- being soulmates with you is such a fucking chore." You say- them feeling like it was hard to breathe. It was like the world was turning against them. You were their world

"A chore? That's all you think of me?" They say, you clenching your fist as you put the scissors to the red line that connected them both

"I've been trying to be a better person for you. I've been trying so hard and it's never enough." They said through tears

"So if you feel that way.. Just cut the fucking string and forget about me!"

With a flick of the simple blade

Their string turned dark as it fell to the ground, both of them looking at each other frozen. Both of your guys breathing hitched as you realized the consequences of denying the string of fate

But for once

You actually listened to them

Even tho you shouldn't have
