Lauren's Point of View:

If I'd have to describe my life, I'd say my life is empty. I mean sure, there's plenty of people and things I enjoy in my life, but there's something missing. Something everyone seems to have that I just...lack. I assumed that maybe after I graduated I would start to find myself better. But that never happened, I'm still the same old Lauren. Still doing fun things but not feeling like I'm living every second to the best I can. Okay maybe I'm not like one hundred percent empty because I have to admit, my life is cool. But like I said, I'm missing something.

"Mani! Come on I'm waiting", Lauren yelled, growing increasingly impatient.

"I'm coming lauren just hold on a sec" normani yelled back out her half opened window.

It's a relatively nice day, around 80 degrees. Lauren doesn't particularly like it when it's too hot, that's one of the many reasons she escaped Miami. France doesn't have many days that are over 90 degrees, and being that she's in the countryside, she can enjoy the cooler days outdoors. Normani and Lauren have lived in France together for nearly a year now. Everyday is filled with beautiful adventures, even if it's just waking up at one in the afternoon and watching tv together. Life is seemingly perfect for the two.
Hearing the loud footsteps of the girl who is making them late, Lauren hops on her bike.

"Get on your bike loser, did you grab the basket?" Lauren says in an annoyed tone. She looked at Normani, she had grabbed a picnic basket and a pink plaid blanket.

"Yes I grabbed the basket, will you please tell me where we're going?" Normani says, half panting.

"Nope! You'll know when you see it"  Lauren said looking at Normani, who in response rolled her eyes.

The girls rode their bikes through the small citythey live in. The streets were alive with people, which isn't usually uncommon in the city. The markets were filled with colorful arrays of fruit and various other products. There were people riding their bikes and walking together, the whole scene was peaceful.

"Okay mani, were almost there. Be careful up here, the path is rough" Lauren advises while turning onto a narrow grassy path in a forest.

"Uhhh Lauren, where the hell are you taking me this is scary", lauren chuckles.

"Just shut up we're nearly there" lauren says in a playful tone. The path leads them to a wider path with a few trees here and there. There were little white flowers everywhere, for it was summertime and everything was blooming. Everything is green and beautiful, nothing like what they just rode their bikes through in the city. Every inch of the path was painted with a different shade of green, it could not have been more beautiful. Lauren was in awe, if it weren't for the breeze that blew slightly, she would have had gotten chills just from the view.

Lauren immediately smiled at the Beatles reference in the name. Normani hadn't seemed to notice it though.
