It was mid-December, two months since Joshua talked with Seungcheol and Mingyu. More so being warned than having a proper conversation, other than being told vital information for Joshua's sake, and Jeonghan's. Since then, Joshua had been thinking about it.
Joshua was still young, and so was Jeonghan. But Jeonghan had gone through more than three heartbreaks, each leaving him scarred. Joshua hadn't even had a solid crush until he met Jeonghan, so he wasn't sure if what he was doing was any wiser than others who hurt Jeonghan. Not only that, but Joshua knew that Jeonghan was tired of being wronged by people, that it led to him wanting to make rules, putting people to tests, and making sure that they wanted this and wanted him in general. It was a complicated situation, and usually, Joshua never chanced it from lack of confidence, but something pushed him to do it. Multiple, to be exact.
Christmas was on its way, and after today, Friday, they had two weeks off from school. It wasn't too far from Joshua's previous school, so he could easily adjust to that. But it was around the time he made his final decision of whether or not he wanted to start a relationship with Jeonghan and whether or not Joshua wanted to try to make it permanent, for him, and Jeonghan.
As Joshua was walking to his last class of the day, Jun and a sophomore boy were with him. Xu Minghao was a part of Jeonghan's friend group and was known to have a sharp tongue. But what was surprising about Minghao was that he was similar to Jun. Minghao grew up in China, somehow convincing his parents to allow him to enter into SOPA to have a better chance of improving his dance. He once was on T.V as a kid, but Minghao didn't go into depth about it, other than saying it was during his first stages of dance. But Minghao came to Korea knowing little things about the Korean language until he met Jeonghan and his group.
Minghao was a lanky boy with shaggy, dark chestnut hair, and his eyes were dark brown, but sometimes, they appeared lighter, and that wasn't because he was in the light. It just happened. Not to mention, he also had his ears pierced and always wore black, thick hoops that were small.
"I can't wait for break," Jun yawned, his eyes drooping. But in honesty, his eyes were always droopy which was strangely a charm of his, "I can sleep in again,"
"I can't wait to celebrate Christmas," Minghao grinned. There was this odd thing with Minghao, and it only happened when he spoke Korean than Chinese. Maybe it was because of his accent, but Joshua, and everyone, noticed that his voice stayed steady, but the more he spoke, it went up and down like a rollercoaster. "Not to mention about New Year and everything. There are tons of music festivals going on here,"
"Oh right," Joshua chuckled, enjoying the sight of seeing Minghao enthusiastic about the music festivals. These musical festivals hold various idols, coming together to create a memorable performance in celebration for the holidays. It was a spectacle, and music blasted everywhere in Korea. It was incredible, in Joshua's opinion, but only if he could attend one, then it would have made things ten times better.
Entering into the classroom, Joshua and his friends set down their bags, getting their material for the class.
"You know, since the two of you don't have anything going on other than spending time with family, you should tag along with the boys and me," Jun offered with a smile.
"Huh?" Joshua raised an eyebrow curiously, Minghao scoffing.
"If you mean acting like crackheads at those get-togethers they drag us to, then count me out,"
"Hey, be honest," Joshua said, "They're pretty fun, and that time Seungkwan attacked Soonyoung was priceless,"
"Whatever," Minghao rolled his eyes playfully but beckoned for Jun to continue.
