This story's chapter was never finished and was an old project, I've decided to publish it because this account is no longer going to be used. You've been uh.
Warned?
My name is Matthew Nook, but most of my friends call me Matt. I was arrested at the age of 14 for trespassing, theft, assault, and attempted murder. Those last 2 are complete bullcrap because it was self-defense. No matter what, I'll still be known well for breaking into a Millennium research facility, one of the highest guarded places in the world.
and it was on a dare.
9 hours before the arrest
"Come on Matt, don't wuss out now," JJ said, his name is technically Jared but I call him JJ sometimes. A girl walked up behind him and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, just follow what I said and you should be fine," Sydney instructed, without much confidence.
"I hope you're correct about the camera placements. We agreed only one treasure correct?" I asked them, still terrified.
"One good treasure, it can't be a tin can. Not again," Jared reminded me of the last facility I broke into, barely escaped that catastrophe. I sighed knowing well that this is just going to be a repeat of that, I'll accidentally trip an alarm and I'll just barely escape.
3 hours before the arrest
I grabbed iPod and headphones. I put the headphones around my neck and the iPod in my pocket, I looked around for my backpack which was hidden somewhere in my room. I adjusted my glasses and looked under my bed. Behold, the almight grey and ripped backpack. I stuffed a bunch of waters and a taser I got from Dollar General in the back, I wrapped them in a blanket to make less noise. I was all set and ready for this 'heist'.
Jared and Sydney walked into the room most likely expecting me to have ditched, judging from their surprised expressions. "You do know this is one of the most secure places in the world, right?" Sydney questioned still with a shocked expression.
"Thats what makes it fun," I shot finger guns at her, she rolled her eyes.
"If I don't get arrested, will you date me?"
"Hell no."
30 minutes before the arrest
I waved goodbye to them as I got out of the car in front of the building, it was practically a fortress. I sprinted to the outer wall and crouched down to avoid being seen by one of the guard towers that surrounded the place. Yeah, I wasn't joking when I said it was practically a fortress.
"I can't see anything legal going on here with this amount of guards and secrecy." I talked to myself.
Last week, a former guard captain went missing after leaking that he didn't like one of the tests they did on the prisoners that were being tested on in there. It was only 4 hours after he said that, he went missing. Kinda terrifying, not gonna lie.
I walked alongside the wall to avoid one of the guard towers seeing me.
