His Summer Love (A Niall Horan Fanfiction)

Chapter Two~

"Niiiikkkkiiiii" I called over from my seat on the plane. I was in the window seat, of course. Next to me was Samara, across the aisle was Nikki, and next to her was Dev. My mom sat behind me and next to some random dude that she was having a political debate with.

"Whaaaaaatttt?" Nikki snapped back, clearly annoyed. Though it didn't take much to do that

"You brought your DS right?" I asked

"Of course" she said matter of factly

"Kay, Pokemon battle. Lezdothis" I challenged her taking my white DS out of my bag

"Oh it's on!" She laughed pulling out her DS

"Like Donkey Kong?" Devanie asked

"Get outta here Dev. This conversation is for Pokemon masters only" I smirked as Pokemon Pearl showed up on my screen

"You guys are such nerds" Samara laughed jumping into the conversation

Her comment is completely valid. Nikki and I are pretty nerdy. We both enjoy playing video games and we have a huge thing for anime. We like anime so much that we both took Japanese at school. Though, she took it for one year, while I'm now on my third.

"Oh? and you think thats going to make the country a better place to live in?" my mother challenged the dude next to her.

"Well yes, because you see.." the dude began

That lady. Oy. If I have any advice for anyone who ever meets her is if you're a Republican do not bring up politics. She will hound you for as long as it takes until you convert to being a Democrat. Sheesh.

"Hey guys," Samara started

"Hm?" I asked, eyes glued to my epic battle with Nikki

"We're going to meet One Direction.." she laughed

My stomach sank. Holy shit she's right. That was sort of out of my thoughts at the moment.

"Yes? And your point?" Devanie asked cool as a cucumber

"I'm finding it hard to believe.." Samara responded "I don't know how I'm going to react when we see Zayn honestly,"

"Don't freak out like you did at school and you'll be fine," Nikki advised

"Hey, you freaked out too," Samara retorted

"Shhh, you're messing up my focus," I muttered

Samara laughed at me then went back to watching the movie playing- Transformers 2. Not my favorite movie on the planet, I'd rather play Pokemon.

"HAH! Suck it!" I laughed triumphantly after a few moments

"Best two out of three!" Nikki challenged

"You'll be sorry when I kick your ass twice in a row!" I smirked as our battle began again.

After 3 hours the score ended with Nikki winning 12 times and me winning 10 times.

"I'm tired of battling. I'll just take my victory and nap now. Thank you and good night," Nikki smirked, turning off her DS

"Kay wow. You just know if we kept playing I'd make a come back!"

"Mhm, keep telling yourself that," Nikki laughed then proceeded to hum "We Are The Champions"

"I'll get you back," I muttered

Soon Nikki joined Devanie and Samara sleeping. I was going to do the same but How To Train Your Dragon was playing and Lord knows I was not sleeping through that. I put in my headphones and quoted the movie in my head for the remainder of the flight.
