I walked in the classroom and almost every seat was filled. There was one seat left next to a boy. He looked about 6'2 and was brownskin with waves and braces. I would lie if i said he wasn't fine. I took the seat next to him and waited for Mr. Johnson to start.
"The first grade of this quarter will be a project. You will have partners and they are the person you're sitting with." I looked over to see that boy, he had his headphones in and seemed bothered.
I tapped him to get his attention. "I don't want to interrupt but we have to work together on a project." He looked at me then took the paper out of my hand and wrote his name on it.
He handed it back to me so i can put my name on it. I glanced at his name. "Armani" i said to myself. "Where do you want to meet for the project?" he said. "We can meet up at my house." i replied. "Ight, put your number in my phone." He unlocked his phone and handed it to me.
I put my name as Nookie💞 and gave his phone back to him. Then the bell rang and it was time for 3rd period with Nay.

Me and Nay walked around the lunchroom to find a table. "Bestie there goes Zion, let's go sit by him." I followed her to the table. She sat down by him and i sat by her. They gave eachother a quick peck on the lips then Nay introduced us.
"Bae this is my best friends Nookie, Nookie this is my boyfriend Zion." "You can call me DaeDae" he said. I nodded and gave him a warm smile. I was happy for Nay. A few minutes later Armani walked up and sat next to DaeDae. They dapped eachother up. We were all in our own conversations.
I looked up and saw Armani looking at me, i was lost in his eyes. Then he looked away from me and we continued our conversations. The bell rang and lunch was over. Me and Nay had our last class of the day together.

Me and Nay walked outside. That's when Kyra and her minions walked up to us. "Why were you eating lunch with my man?" I rolled my eyes and tried to walk away but she grabbed my arm. "I'm gonna ask you one more time, why were you with my man."
At this point, all the attention was on us. I hated people being in my business. "We barely talk, that's just a friend." i said. "Well stay away from him or else." i chuckled and started walking away. Kyra ran up to me and tried to drag me down.
I had a little more weight then her so i turned around and punched her in her jaw. She fell to the floor and i got in top of her and kept sending blows to her face. Suddenly i felt hands pull me to the parking lot.
When we got over there, i looked up and saw Armani and he didn't look that happy. "What were you doing fighting her?" he was staring deep into my eyes. "She was coming at me sideways and she really tried it." he kept looking at me.
"Why?" is all he said. "Apparently you're her man and she doesn't want me around you" i said annoyed looking away from him. He choked me and said "Don't get a attitude with me Ma, imma handle it ight?"
At this point i was ready to risk it all but i had to keep it cool. I shook my head yes and he let me go. "I'll text you later about the project ok?" I nodded and he walked away.
I waited on the curb for my mom to pick me up. While i waited, i texted Nay.
Me I'm ok but i'm waiting on mom to get me

I was scrolling through my timeline then my mom got me. On the way home all i could think about was Armani. But i couldn't let that control my train of thoughts. When we got home, i took a shower, changed my clothes then took a nap.
