Third POV
Elizabeth has returned to her section of the office, nimbly typing away.
She looked on her desktop, more specifically the time.
"Ooh! I should go inform the boss about the next meeting." She exclaimed in her head.
And she did just that only for him to tell her different.
.
.
.
"Actually Elizabeth that meeting is supposed to be for you and the other assistants." He spoke, placing his hands in his pockets."Forgive me for asking but, why exactly are the other assistants and I meeting?" Elizabeth questioned.
"Well, you see we felt that it would've been best for you all to get to know each other, for better work ethics and help with communication to make jobs for the boss's a bit easier in simpler terms." He explained.
She nodded, understanding most parts about what he said.
"Alright, thanks for the clarifications, sir."
He smiled, as he then turned back to his work, allowing her to head back to her desk.
Back at her desk, she continued working, everything was going normal, as she had hoped that the other assistants would like her.
But she had nothing to worry about.
Timeskip: 12:15 PM
The elevator doors dinged, while Elizabeth was still working.
Assuming it was one of the employees from the other floors coming up she didn't bother to look up.
Out of the corner of her eye, she could just see them standing there, one of them looking down at a piece of paper then back up at all the desk, like they were looking for someone.
"I might as well help them..." Elizabeth thought.
She got up and headed towards them, taking a view at all of them.
One was tall with brown upper back length hair with purple eyes, the other one was short as she had blond shoulder-length hair and golden colored eyes.
The looked familiar.
"May I help you two?" Elizabeth asked.
"Oh yeah, are you Elizabeth?" The brunette questioned.
Elizabeth nodded, as she watched the two ladies sigh and smile in relief.
"Good, cause I thought we went to the wrong floor for the 2nd time, anyways, I'm Elaine and that's Diane we were here for a meeting." The blonde spoke introducing herself.
"I see, well it's very nice to meet you." Elizabeth grinned "I was told that we could go anywhere for the meeting so would you all like to go out and eat something if you guys haven't..?"
Diane and Elaine looked at each other then back at Elizabeth.
"Of course!" The two girls answered.
And so after telling Meliodas their location the ladies headed down to a nearby restaurant.
They had already ordered their food and seemed to have already started a conversation.
"Well, I work for the Grizzly company, the boss is my boyfriend." Diane spoke, as she fiddled with her fork.
Elizabeth shook her head, turning over to Elaine.
"And I work for the Fox Company, I'm also dating the boss, Diane's boss is my brother."Elaine grinned.
"Wow, how come you don't work under your brother?" Elizabeth questioned.
"Well, I was at some point as a regular employee but then I met Mr.Fox and he took an interest in me so I left and work for him." Elaine shrugged.
"Oh."
The food arrived as Diane took her turn to ask Elizabeth something.
"Hey, your last name is Liones, you wouldn't happen to be the daughter of Bartra Liones right?"
Elizabeth looked down, she kinda didn't feel comfortable talking about her dad at this point.
"Yeah..."
The two ladies stopped eating for a sec and looked at the silverette.
"Did I ask something I shouldn't have?" Diane whispered, her eyebrows furrowing in guilt.
Noticing this Elizabeth perked up.
"No no, it's ok if you were curious- I'm just not good terms with him at the moment." She answered, sipping some water.
The two ladies nodded "oh, well that's ok."
Elaine then changed the topic to something random, her goal in removing the sad vibes and make everyone laugh again.
And it succeeded!
"Wait, *haha* but surely you'd get tired from going store to store?" Elizabeth giggled.
"I was, then I looked down and turns out my purse was in my hand the whole time." Elaine facepalmed.
"Wow, compared to my story about calling on my phone to look for it that is hilarious." Diane grinned.
They finished laughing, each letting out a sigh.
"Oh wow, would you look at the time we have to get going now." Elizabeth perked up.
She left money for the food while Diane and Elaine pitched in for tip as they headed out.
The headed to the parking lot, where they were gonna say their 'final' goodbyes.
"I had fun this afternoon, I'm actually glad this meeting was scheduled." Elizabeth smiled.
"Aww me two!"
"Same here!"
But then Elaine suggested that they share phone numbers, Y'know in case they ever wanted to go out or something.
"Alright, since everyone has each other's numbers I guess this meeting is over, huh?" Elizabeth shrugged.
The two ladies nodded, as they said bye heading over to their respected offices.
