He placed his head on his knees, moving his head to the side to look at the stores that had begun to close up for the day. As he sighed, a pair of legs dressed in green khakis stood in front of his line of sight. He looked up to see Octavia looking down at him. "Hunter? What are you doing here?" She giggled as she looked down at him. She was wearing a tight light blue tank top that showed off her curves perfectly. Her black hair was being blown by the wind behind her. He looked up at her and smiled softly, "I...can't go home. My father didn't end up being arrested..My mother is dead..and he's at home waiting to kill me..I was there a few minutes ago..I managed to hide and crawl out the window.." She looked down at him and bit her lip. "W-Well you could stay over at my place for the time-being if you want. I'll just ask my mother. I'll tell her you were kicked out." He smiled as he hugged his legs toward his chest. "T-Thank you.." She smiled and nodded as she took out her phone and made her way to sit beside him. She clicked her mother's phone number as the phone rang on the other end. When her mother picked up and responded with the usual hello, Octavia opened her mouth to speak. "Mom, can my friend stay over? He was kicked out of his house." After a moment of thinking, her mother spoke into the phone. "Sure, honey. I told your father and he said yes. I won't be home tonight since my boss wants to keep me at work for longer than usual. Your father will get something for both of you to eat." Octavia replied with, "Okay, I love you." Her mother said that she loved her back before hanging up the phone. She smiled softly as she looked over to Hunter who was watching the stores close. "She said yes!" Octavia smiled. For someone who was bullied for her mother being a stripper, she had an extremely outgoing and happy personality. He liked that about her. He smiled as she got up and held out her hand. "Well, Let's go!" She giggled as he took her hand. She helped him up and smiled. He smiled back as they made their way to her house.

When they arrived, he was chewing on his bottom lip nervously. They both stepped onto the porch and Octavia took out her key to open the front door. She opened the door and stepped in, stepping to the side to let Hunter in. "Welcome to my humble home." She said as she closed the door behind her. The living room was close to the front door and had two black leather couches and a small TV that sat in the middle, as well as a glass table seated in the middle of the couches. The kitchen was a big room beside the living room. There was a bathroom beside the front door and stairs beside that door, leading up to the upstairs. He blushed as he slowly looked around. "Octavia! Welcome home!" Her father shouted from the kitchen. He peeked his head out from the kitchen door to see his daughter walk into the house. He made his way towards her and kissed her on the cheek, "How was school today?" She smiled softly as she responded, "Pretty good actually. I made a new friend." Octavia gestured to Hunter as he made his way to stand beside her. "Dad, This is Hunter." Her dad chuckled before he responded, "Not only did you make a friend on the first day, but he's also a boy?" She nodded as he held out his hand. "I'm Mr. Torez. But you can call me Brad." Hunter smiled softly as he shook her father's hand. "I'm...Hunter. Nice to meet you." He let go of his hand before Octavia ushered him upstairs. "We'll be upstairs in my room if you need anything!" She yelled as her father made his way back to the kitchen. She opened the door on the far right side as she stepped in and let Hunter in, closing the door behind her.

Like most girls rooms, her walls were plastered with posters. The posters were all off her favourite bands. From Black Veil Brides to My Chemical Romance. Her bed was placed in the middle of the room with a nightstand and a black Eiffel Tower lamp seated on top of it. She had a TV in front of her bed on top of a TV stand and a PlayStation 4 beside the TV. Her walk-in closet was beside the door to the room and she had a window on top of her bed frame that overlooked the rest of the neighbourhood. Her bathroom was placed on the far right corner and the door was closed. He bit his lip as he looked around. He had never been in a girls room before. This was his first time. He never got far enough in a relationship to even step foot into a girls room. He remembered when he was around 16 after the Halloween party. He had brought his new girlfriend over to meet his mother. His father stayed downstairs as usual. This time though, his father had come out of the basement to greet his new girlfriend. He had blood all over him. His new girlfriend had planned to meet his parents then bring Hunter over to meet hers and potentially stay over. That never happened since she was scared of his father. Like everyone else, she had judged Hunter because of his father. At that time, Hunter thought he was just a pedophile. He thought he had changed over time and the blood was just fake blood that he used to scare other people on Halloween. Boy was he wrong. He should have known that pedophiles never change. His "condition" got even worse. Not only did he rape the girls, but he also killed them when they didn't give him what he wanted. He managed to kill a lot of girls before he was caught by his mother.
