12: The Cousin

Arthit's POV

I and Kong have been getting along so well since that night. He still loves to tease me but instead of being annoyed, I'll just ignore it as much as I can. I think, I am already used to him teasing me every single time he could.

***3 Months later***

One morning I just got out from my room to cook for breakfast..

"P'Arthit khap." Kong called me causing me to turn and face him. He's leaning at his doorway, with his hands at the pocket of his shorts.

"What?" I asked.

  "Let me cook for breakfast today." He said.

"Huh? Do my cooking getting worse? You don't like them?" But I think, It's good for Kong never refused them..

"P'Arthit, all the dishes you have been cooked was all good." He said making me feel relieved.

 "But.." he walked towards me staring at my face, I just stared back wanting to know what will he be saying after.

"I just want to make sure that you don't add love potion to my food" He said in a husky voice with his face still getting close to mine. Pushed him slightly.

"Love potion my ass! A-and why do you think I would do that?!" I yelled at him with my frowned forehead.

"I don't know.. I just think you do." He paused then walked  closer and put his mouth close to my ear. I felt it was getting hot, It must be reddened.

"Cause I keep on falling for you especially when you cook food for me" He said then continue to walk towards the kitchen. I stood still trying to utter my respond but my tongue isn't corresponding.

I was wrong, I am still not used to him teasing me like this. I still hear my own heartbeat. Shiaa! what's happening? He's just teasing me, I shouldn't be feeling like this.

I admit that Kong is indeed a good guy but he has this bad habit of teasing me whenever he gets a chance to. And I hate myself cause I couldn't even get annoyed at him for a long time just because of that. I always ending up dumbfounded and reddened. And I don't even know why.

"P'Arthit khap" He called me but I didn't respond.

"Breakfast Is ready" He said as I smelled my favorite thai food. I couldn't resist the smell of the food so I turned and saw Kong with his arms crossed as if he expected me to turn around no matter what. 

"Let's eat" He said grinning then sit. I sighed then sat at the chair in front of him. We were just about to start eating when we heard a knock from the front door. I stared at him for a moment like asking if he was expecting someone today. He stared back without moving until the knock got louder.

"Kong?"A voice of a woman said behind the wooden door. Kong immediately stood up with an excited face then opened the door.

Tsk! He definitely presented to cook the breakfast for today just because he was expecting this girl to come. 

I kept my gaze at Kong and saw him being hugged by that girl on the doorway. Kong hugged her back tightly.

Can they get even more closer than this? They hugged for too long just like no more tomorrow to come.

"How are you doing, Kong?!" the girl said in a loud voice. I rolled my eyes. 

SHE IS VERY ANNOYING!

"I'm fine, Pau! How about you? It's been a long time! I missed you, do you know that?!" He said to the girl with a loud and happy voice.

"I missed you too!"

Oh! so they were that close indeed huh? actually, who the hell she really is? Kong seemed to forget that he has a roommate here since he just heard her voice from the outside earlier. Or.. is she his girlfriend? How come he never told me he has a one? Tsk! 

"I need to go" I said coldly then went straightly to my room to grab my stuffs and then got out just to see Kong right in front of me, holding a plastic bag. 

"Take this. You haven't even touched your food yet" He said then hand me the plastic bag. I rolled my eyes and then sighed  I do not want to pick an argument with him so I just took it and then immediately walked towards the doorway. 

"P'Arthit khap." He called making me stop.

"Are you really in a hurry?" He asked but instead of responding, I just nod then left right away.

Shiaa! Why the the hell did I acted like that? Why the hell do I felt annoyed with the person who absolutely didn't do anything to me?!   

I tried to convince myself not to be annoyed because whatever it is going on between Kong and that Pau is definitely not my business. But I cannot rest my mind from thinking, I don't know but.. I just can't!

Until the day was finally over, I went home straight. I don't know, but I just wanted to go home as early as I can.

I got at the opposite side of the road in front of the apartment and saw Kong laughing with that girl named Pau. I just stared at them It seems like he doesn't notices me at all. Until his face went straight and finally noticed me.

I looked at my wristwatch. 5:30 pm

Isn't is already late for a decent girl to go home from his boyfriend's house at this time?

"P'Arthit!" He smiled as he called my name. I rolled my eyes in annoyance but then go right away to meet them.

"P'Arthit, I'm sorry for earlier, I just forgot to introduce you to her. I got carried away, because we didn't met each other for the last two years." He explained

I know, its obvious though

"By the way, Paulyn, this is P'Arthit. My roommate. P'Arthit, this is Paulyn, my cousin." Oka-- what?? what did he said? His cousin? 

I immediately wai her when what Kong said already sank in my mind.

Actually, I somehow got at ease when he said that she was his cousin and not his girlfriend at all.
