So, here we are, fully done with Stay Inside (by my Side) :')
Finishing this fic is really bittersweet. I'm glad that the boys got their happily ever after, but I'm really going to miss writing. Building this setting from the ground up, being unreasonably excited to plan all this piny fluff, waking up and reading comments first thing in the morning... it's like I had a child and they're moving away LMAOOO totallynotgoingtocryrightnow
But seriously, let me just acknowledge some shit real quick:
First of all, I'd like to thank each and every one of you who read this, voted, commented, and added to their reading lists. Every amount of support, no matter how small, has motivated me to move forward. Reading your wonderful comments, from the jokes to the keysmashes to the kind words has been the highlight of my day EVERY DAY for the past 2 months that I have been writing this. There are genuinely no words to describe how grateful I am to everyone who has followed this story and allowed me to share my writing <3
My confidence as a writer and as a person has grown tremendously since I started this, and it's all thanks to you!! I have teared up countless times reading some of the things people wrote, and I'm so proud to be a part of such a loving community.
Second of all, I already have a plan for my next steps in writing, so I'm going to upload a stupid little Stay Inside crack fic to celebrate this series' conclusion, after which I'll take a small break!
I'm still unsure if I will be posting my new idea, it will depend on how well I think it through before beginning (I don't want to get burnt out again like I almost have with this one) but if I DO post it, I realllyyy hope y'all will enjoy this new project I'm planning 😤 it'll be longer and grittier for sure, so I'm quite excited.
