Pete's POV
I finally asked her. I was happy.

I smiled to myself, toying with the two new rings on my fingers.

I smiled to myself, and went to sleep.

Rose's POV
I was engaged.

Engaged.

I let that word ring through my mind. I was Pete's fiancé. I loved the sound of it.

When the proposal happened, Patrick flipped out. He was yelling at Pete and I. He has something between his fingers and he threw and across the room, angrily storming out. The guys left soon afterward, apologizing for Patrick's behavior.

Pete went to sleep, and I decided to stay up a little longer.

I thought about all of this.

Pete wanted to marry me?

Also, why would Patrick get so angry over it?

Either way, this Christmas was probably the best I've ever had. It was the best Christmas I've ever had.

I sighed and smiled to myself. Those boys were something else, but I loved them to death. Just as I was about to go to sleep, something shiny caught my eye.

This must've been what Patrick threw earlier.

I walked over to the tree and looked underneath it, grabbing the shiny, bent object Patrick threw minutes earlier.

I gasped, and tried to steady my breathing.

A ring.
