Suman's pov,

I packed my bags and looked around the room to check if I missed something or not.

"Sumo" I heared shravan grumping and I ignored him.

He have to stay back here for the mission and I'm going to bhopal for the wedding that's why he's sad.

"Tussi ja rahe ho, tussi na jao" He said and hold my hand kissing my knuckles he looks at me pouting.

"Shravan be mature you know how important this mission is for you, for me, for our country" I said looking into his eyes.

"Go my jaan and make me proud" I said kissed his cheek.

"Okay" He said and smile cheekily.

Now I took my bags and kaka placed them in the car, I finally hugged him and kissed his forehead.

I looked through rare view mirror standing him still till he disappear from my sight.

I reached Bhopal after a long tiring journey. It's been 6yrs since I left this place, my house and shravan.

But now he's with me everything comes back to me.

"Suman" I heared dadu and I ran towards him and hugs him.

"Dadu, I missed you so much" And he just caressed my head.

"Kaisa hamara soldier" Dadu asked tears glistening in his eyes.

And then I take a look on his face the wrinkles under his eyes shows how old he grew now.

This man in front of mine face everything, losing his two sons in the war to being a strong pillar for me when I needed him the most.

He's strong.

"Sumooo" And here we goes kancha ran like a panda and clinged to me like a second skin.

"I knew Tu aayegi" And we all headed towards the house.

On the way kancha nudge me asking about that incident when dadu caught us red handed.

We go inside and I greeted chacha, chachi and maa with hugs.

Soon we both reach our room and she quickly bombarded me with her questions.

"Shant gaja dhari bheem, shaant" I said make her sit on bed

And then I tell her everything.

Flashback

I quickly ran after dadu, "dadu please suniye to ekbaar" Dadu halts in between and turns towards me.

"Kya sunu, suman aaj to sab dekh liya apni aankhon se"

"Jis insaan ke pita ne tumhare papa ki jaan li aur.. " I cut him in between.

"Dadu, jaan nahi li uncle isn't guilty dadu, ye baat aap bhi jaante hai aur main bhi it was an accident dadu"

Dadu looks down. I went towards him and took his hand in mine. "Dadu papa ke jaane ke baad aap hi to hai mere sab kuch. Apki vaajh se hi main yaahan hun dadu "

"Dadu aaj main apko kuch bata chahti hun, kyunki aap ka ye jaanne ka haq banta hai "

'' dadu, main aur shravan hum ek dusre se pyaar karte hai dadu" I said looking into his eyes but instead of anger I found amusement in his eyes.

"Kabse chal raha hai ye sab" He asked.

I lowered my lashes and replied "school se"

"Haan, tabhi samjhun ki malhotra regiment ka hamare ghar aana jaana kyun badh gaya tha"

"Dadu matlab apne accept"

"Haan bhai haan, mujhe to vo pehle se hi pasand tha, aajao bahar " I confused to whom he's calling.

Then shravan came out from behind the tree.

And then we trio hugged.

Flashback ends.

"Suman , kanchan.. Chalo khana lag gya hai" We both headed downstairs and after gulping our delicacies.

We come back and sleep.
