The firm fabric handle of the bag was pulling my shaking hands down towards the ground.

The weight of it reached my shoulder, an ache spread through my head as I ran. I took one last look at the fading darkness of the midnight light that I was running from.

Images raced past my vision, blue lines and memories were all I could see. Or were they memories? I saw my father stand and watch my granddad as zoom shot a vibrating hand through his heart, Barry screamed but I couldn't hear anything. I wanted to run and save him, or at least to comfort my dad but I needed to focus. I ran past and this time I saw Iris, she was holding Nora as she cried at first I saw only the sweet gesture but when I looked closer I saw Iris glaring at a small child. Dawn, Dawn was the small child. I wanted to give Dawn a hug but just like with my father, I had to keep running. Another few seconds later led me to Killer frost. She was wearing the oldest Killer Frost suit and she was firing ice out of her hands. This time I didn't even think to stop. I just kept running. My past, present and future all mixing into one.

Soon I saw what I was looking for. I ran out just after a view of Nora West-Allen came into view. Light streamed into my eyes, this was it. This was my moment. I jumped out of the speedforce, stumbling a bit on the impact of the hard gravel. A quick scan of the surrounding area showed me I was in an alleyway, off 34th and Main. Cars raced past and soon sirenes echoed through the streets, a blur of red and orange flew past me so fast i barely saw it. My hair was windswept and not its usual neat over one side look, I pulled it up into a high ponytail and began to find somewhere to sleep. I would begin my search for information tomorrow, then perhaps I would come out of hiding in a few weeks. Nothing too soon, knowing that if I came out too quickly especially after Nora's sudden appearance, it would be suspicious. I couldn't let them find out who I was. If they knew... well who knows what would happen but I couldn't risk it.

"Oh crap" I whispered, the task was going to be less of a short walk up a hill and more of a hike up mount Everest. With no ropes. A blast of cold air got my attention, the one and only Killer Frost was walking toward me 'No! Not now' I thought. I saw a brown haired woman run to Barry. "Iris" I realised. What was happening? I noticed a face in the distance, I couldn't see what or who it was. All too soon it was only a few meters away from me, or so I thought. I soon realised that it was less than two meters from Caitlin. I froze, he couldn't hurt her. He couldn't!

"Kid, get outta here!" Caitlin yelled at me, I wanted to stay but I knew I couldn't. So as usual, I ran. This time I kept my speed to a normal human level. To top it off, I even allowed myself to pant a bit as I ran. Anything to keep it believable right?

"FROST!" Barry shouted, I turned around so fast I probably let some lightning show but I didn't care. Caitlin lay on the ground with a metal shard sticking out of her stomach. Before I could run over Cisco was at her side. I almost blew my cover right then and there just to see if Caitlin was okay. I willed my legs to move in the direction of the park, tears filled my eyes but I started to walk away. My pace quickened with every step and soon I was running, perhaps a little too fast because as I rounded the corner I locked eyes with my father who had a perplexed look on his face. I raised my fingers in a salute then I turned the corner and they were gone from my sight. That's when I allowed myself to to break down but not before I sat myself on a wooden bench just on the cusp of the park.

I had just seen my parents again after almost a month of living while they were dead. I remembered letting the dirt rain down over my father's empty grave.

"Dad... Daddy please come back to me" I sobbed into my mothers comforting arms

"Honey, I know this is horrible but please look at me" she begged. She placed her hand on my chin and raised my head up to look at her "I love you, your dad loved you, I swear you will never go a day without being loved. You are my whole world Snowflake." she promised. "You will never have to live without being loved. I will never leave you" I buried myself deeper into her body, we stayed like that the whole time. The whole city had lost their hero, they had lost the flash but we had lost more. We had lost our hero, we had lost Barry Allen.
