I feel a little sticky note on my forehead. God, this better not be another prank Robi. I grabbed the note and pulled it off my forehead. I opened my eyes a smidge to read it. It said, 'Gena, went to breakfast and shopping. I would have woken you up but you were so adorable. I'll be back by 6! -Robi'
I looked at the clock, 10:09. Groaning, I get up and head to the shower. I take a short shower, jump out and get dressed, I wore my Spongebob Nerd shirt with my black jeans and rainbow suspenders with black converse. I grab my phone and saw I had one new text message. It was from 'The British Guitarist' I laughed at the name... Danny.
BG: Hello Gena. I was wondering would you like to have breakfast with me and my friends? - sent at 9:51 am
G: Sorry, just woke up! And shure, where?
BG: I'm sorry if I woke you up! Take your time getting ready. And in the hotel resturant. We'll be waiting! :)
G: Honestly it's fine. And okay! See you in 10! :]
Friends? What friends could he possible be talking about? Most of all, will his frineds like me? I thought about it and let my mind push all the questions to the back of my mind. I walked to the door, padding my pockets. Phone? Check. Room key? Check. Okay all set! I closed the door and headed to the elevator. I clicked on the 1 and the elevator moved. The elevator music was really annoying.
Once the elevator door opened, I ran out and came to a halt, getting strange faces from everyone. Where was the resturant? I turned the corner and saw the lobby. It was packed with girls. Screaming and singing took place in the huge lobby. There was bodyguards everywhere! I tried ignoring them and found the resturant. I see 2 bodyguards there. I approached them to enter the resturant but they didn't let me through.
"I was invited here. So, please move!" I said while trying to get through.
"Nice try miss. Now go back behind them." said one the guards pointing at the mob of girls. One of them pushed me and I stumbled a bit. I turn around and text Danny.
G: Hi! I'm here but the guards won't let me in...
BD: I'm sorry babe! I'll send someone to get you!
I stood patiently by the 2 guards. I saw someone walk up behind them. He had a red snapback and a bro-tank with shorts and supras. The mysterious person whispered to the one who didn't push me and he nodded. The one who didn't push me had brown hair and was BIG. He walked towards me.
"Are you Gena?" the man asked, with a irish accent. I nodded. He hugged me and said 'sorry'. Still in shock, I nodded, he led me to the entrance and passed me to the mysterious boy who whispered in his ear. The boy smiled at me and noticed his clear braces.
"Hello there! The names Niall! How are you today?" said the boy who got me.
"Hi! I'm Gena. And I was happy until the tough guy over there," I pointed to the one next to the kind guard, "pushed me!" I said as we were making our way to our table. The big man turned around and gave me an evil grin. I turned around to see Niall glaring at the big man.
"Don't worry about Andy. He can be pretty violent, even with girls. Paul will straighten him out. Don't worry love." Nialll said still glaring at Andy.
We walked to the table and saw Danny and 4 other people. Danny was talking to a boy with curly hair and green eyes. Green eyes looked at me and stopped in midsentence and smiled.
At that exact moment I realized that I would be seeing HIM agian. Thankfully his back was toward me. But green eyes was still looking at me. I stopped walking and Niall stopped too.
"What's wrong?" Niall said with his eyes filled with concern. I shook my head without looking at him. Do I have the strength to see him again? Well here goes nothing. I looked at Niall and smiled. He returned it and put his arm around me. We started walking to the table agin. Green eyes frowned when Niall put his arm around me.
We got to the table and I looked at Danny and smiled. He looked at me and looked back on his phone. Wow. I feel great now. Note the sarcasm.
"Gena, this is Harry," Niall pointed to green eyes adn he smiled. I returned it. "The one next to Hazza is Louis," he pointed to the guy in a jean jacket and black shirt. Louis looked up from his phone and smiled and waved. I waved back. "The one with a fro is Liam," he pointed to the boy next to Danny. Liam stood up and hugged me and sat back down. "And the one in the corner sulking is Zayn." The moment he said his name, I knew it was him. He still had the same black hair and the same brown eyes. He looked up and smiled, which vanished when he looked back on his phone.
Maybe he doesn't remember me. All those memories gone. I thought he would at least do something, either than a smile. I looked at Niall and faked a smile.
"Don't worry, he's in a fight with his girlfriend right now. No harm to you." he said while smiling. Oh girlfriend trouble. Sure. But should I tell Niall about our history? We sat down, me next to Niall and the wall. Right across from me was Zayn, still looking at his phone.
"So, Danny," he looked up, " how do you know One Direction? " I said with a smirk.
"Uh, well my family owns the hotel so there's a lot of celebrities that come in and these guys especially are from England where I'm from except Niall. He's from Ireland but I actually met them in England, when I was able to come home." he said shyly. His owns the hotel? My mouth agaped.
"Then you're a bell boy because you're forced to?" I asked. Danny nodded.
"Well the upside is, I get to meet beautiful girls." Danny said while winking at me. I half smiled at him, still mad that he didn't acknowledge me first AND for not coming to get me himself!
"So what brings you to NYC, babe?" Harry asked with a wink.
"Well, I'm here to see you guys actually. My friend Robi made a 'road trip' to see you guys on the Today Show. Her family is rich, so yeah..."
"Oh well, were going to dress rehearsal after breakfast, do you want to come with us?" Liam said. I look at my phone. 10:45. I nodded, making a mental note to text Robi that I was going out. Dress rehersal with Zayn.. this can't be good!
