This Chapter is all about, "How to fix those clićhe stuff in your books"

I admit, my old book named "Me and You" was such a mess and trash until my current book come kickn' the door and saying "Bish, let me take the spotlight." Yes, it's "The Lockermates."

I made the book to have a small sequel from "Me and You" since I want to show the "improvement" of mine changing how I write in books by now.

And Today! I'll be showing youuuu,

How to fix: ꜰᴀɴꜰɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ ᴘᴇᴛ ᴘᴇᴇᴠᴇꜱ,ꜱᴛᴇʀᴇᴏᴛʏᴘᴇꜱ, ᴀɴᴅ ᴇᴛᴄ.

Avoid overused plots, making clićhe plots, and just create a creative idea instead for your story.

Bruh, this is now well explained.

Yeah.. I know, I get that it's very/kinda "fun" to do stories like school love (that's the only one point that I can think of)

And Yeah, I became a victim of it, *throwing the book "Me and You" out of the window*

Well, I mean it's possible that you may find your "first love" in school but put a LITTLE TWIST OR TEA SIS. Like what I did for the plot of "The Lockermates", it's started being normal at school meeting tHE BOY THAT WILL BE YOUR LOVER but it sKRrrt to the MAFIA WORLD. But please don't copy my work though.

It's good to be inspired! But your story has to hit DIFFERENTLY from the plot you were inspired. Put your own spice in it and it will be a whole big meal that the readers will be fed well. (I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT FOOD,OKAY??)

Be creative! Keep that in mind! You have the desire to have creative ideas for your plot and promise, readers will soon LOVE your story.

Please prevent messy scenarios.

Yes, don't we all have issues on messy scenarios?

And by messy scenarios, your readers will be confuse. They would decide to read your book later (since it's going crazy) as they'll read another one and as time flies by, the book you made will only be stuck in their library untouched. Don't tell me that I'm the only one who always do this when I encounter these kind of scenarios.

Should I give an example or it's now well explained? Nah. I wanna give one.

Let's pair a boy named "Dude" and "Y/N as a couple

Here it is:
Y/N'S POV

"I likE yOu. cAn yOu bE mY GirLfrIenD?"

Dude said as he scratch the back of his neck in embarrassment. I gasped in surprise and about to cry,

"R-r-r-r-really?" I stuttered before I wipe a tear from my eye. "yAs"

Another gasp was heard behind, "D-dude?"

Dude gasp as he saw someone behind me, I twirl around ending up seeing a girl who's on the verge to cry. "Are you asking her to be YOUR girlfriend? I tHouGht i aM yOurS, I tRustEd yOu." Amber (random name) cried. Another gasp heard ahead of us and that made the three of us turn our head to a boy.
"D-d-d-d-dude??" He stuttered. "I tHoUghT we'Re sinGle bRos fOr liFe?"

END OF POV

What? Why are you guys thinking weird about me?

I know I exaggerated a little but what can I say? I wanna be extra.

But lesson learned though, focus on one scene and if you want it to surprise the readers a little from the chapter, then go on but sprinkle the twist, don't dump the whole thing.

That's all I can write

I'm sorry if I only did two examples for the topic, I couldn't think anything sooo please forgive my brain for not functioning well.
