-Merlin's POV-

"No, the Captain is forced to fight." I said.

"What was it about I am being a goddess, lady Merlin?" Elizabeth asked.

"Anyone that has heard about the cursed lovers?" I asked.

"I don't." King said.

"No, I haven't." Diane answered.

"No idea." Ban said.

"N-no." Escanor stuttered.

"Sorry, I haven't." Elizabeth said.

"I have read about it. It was about one demon and one goddess that fell in love with each other. The demon was a cold hearted, emotionless warrior. The goddes was a warm hearted warrior that didn't like to kill anyone. The two of them meet in the battle field. They started meet each other in secret until the demon betrayed his clan and fight alongside the goddesses. In the middle of the holy war, they both needed to fight their parents. They both got cursed." Gowther answered.

"Do you know the curse too?" I asked. Gowther nodded.

"The demon got cursed with ethereal life. He can't die or age. While the goddess got the curse reincarnation. She will be reincarnated as a human every time she die. Every time she dies, she will forget her past lives and if she remember them, she will die in three days." Gowther explained.

"That is horrible, is the story true?" Diane asked.

"Of course it is. Elizabeth is the reincarnation and Captain is the demon." I said.

"Wow, I never thought he had such horrible past." Ban said.

"Oh no, he has had it much harder. Gowther forgot some things about the curse like Elizabeth will always die in front of the Captain and he can't help her from dying and then it is his father and much more." I said.

"It must be really hard for him. I can't believe that he is even able to smile." Diane said.

"Back to how we will get the Captain back. How will we do?" Ban asked.

"The only thing I is able to think of is that we kidnap the Captain when he comes out to fight." I said.

"Is that really gonna work? I mean, he is stronger than any of us." King said.

"Yeah, I know and if he unlocks his magical ability, we are surly not gonna make it." I said.

"Isn't full counter his magical ability?" Elizabeth asked.

"No, it is just something he learned from Chandler." I said.

"Then this will be really annoying to deal with." Ban said, everyone nodded. Hawk come then out of nowhere.

"Hey! When is that bastard coming back?!" Hawk yelled.

"We are going to kidnap the Captain." King said.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?! DO YOU KNOW HOW STRONG HE IS?!" Hawk yelled.

"We know." Diane said.

"I-it w-will be really h-hard!" Escanor stuttered.

"Good, anyway, I made some reachers about the holy war and I think you want to see it. It's about that bastard." Hawk said.

"Okay, we are coming." Elizabeth said.

-Ban's POV-

We got in in the tavern and master walked to some books. Seriously, do we need to read? It's sooo booring to read.

"This was the one with most information of Meliodas." Master said while give it to Merlin.

"I will read it then." Merlin said, everyone nodded.

"Read from page 24." Master said. Merlin started reading from there.

"The holy war started by the goddesses. They declared war against the demons because of their darkness and powers. The goddesses was powerful clan that wanted to take over Britannia. They saw them selves as gods and no other race was worthy to live. The demons was the only ones that was strong enough to stand up against them." Merlin started reading.

"Wow, never thought the goddesses was thinking so highly of them selves." I said.

"Sorry, wrong book." Master said and gave another book to Merlin.

"This is about Meliodas, start at page 24 too." Master said.

"Demon race. The demon race was a feared race. Their king was a strong god. He was the first demon ever existed. Then it was two princes. The oldest one was Meliodas. The other was Zeldoris." Merlin began reading.

"When is the part about the Captain?" Diane asked.

"It's coming now." Master said.

"Please continue lady Merlin." Princess said.

"Meliodas was the heir to the throne and the demons commander in the holy war. He was the strongest demon ever existed except the demon king himself. For being so strong, he was even commander in the ten commandments and commandment of love." Merlin read, but got cut off.

"Captain must be really strong." Gowther said.

"Y-yeah!" Escanor said.

"What more is it we need to know?" King asked.

"Just read!" Hawk nearly yelled.

"Meliodas was also the most feared demon, even more feared than the demon King. What made him the most scary was that he was totally emotionless and cold hearted. He was the perfect warrior and not a person to mess with." Merlin read.

"He doesn't sound so funny." I said.

"Stop interrupting! We are coming to the most important now!" Master yelled.

"He killed thousands of people in the war. Not even the four archangels could fight him. The goddesses strongest warrior. He continued to kill people in the war, day and night. He was so strong that he himself had the power to decide with side would win." Merlin read.

"He had the power?" King asked.

"The side he was on was the side that was gonna win thanks to his speed, strength, strategy and thinking. The demon side was about to win when Meliodas meet a goddess with name Elizabeth. She was the Supreme dirty's daughter. He continued to fight for the demon race a little longer, but not as good as before. He insisted of lay time on the war, he started meet Elizabeth in secret." Merlin read.

"Is this when he fell in love?" Diane asked.

"I think so." Gowther said.

"You can stop there, that was what happened. Here is a book that has some of the rumours of him then." Master said.

"I don't really think I want to hear them." Princess said.

"Me neither." Diane said.

"It is one last book that is the most important book." Master said.

"What is it abou..." King got cut off by a loud noise.

"What the fuck was that?!" I asked.
