Once the train finally arrived at the girls stop, the dark haired stranger immediately stood up and left. Not sparing her train companion even a single glance.
'..eh?' Kimi couldn't help but sweat drop slightly.
That girl was even more antisocial than she had originally perceived. Though the cyan eyed girl tried not to dwell on it too much and instead stood up to get off the train also. By the time she was able to get off, the tall kitty-onigiri loving girl was nowhere to be seen. Most likely already heading off in the direction of their school.
Although it made sense she didn't hang back for the shorter girl to catch up, the two were still practically strangers. Just because she had shared some of her breakfast didn't mean the girl was now obligated to act all friendly with her. Actually, something about the taller girl's attitude was kinda refreshing.
Not only that she seemed to act however she wanted, and didn't bend under the weight of awkward social conduct. But also back on the train Kimi couldn't help but kinda enjoy her presence. Even if they didn't speak to one another, the silence between them was a peaceful one...
Plus the beautiful metaphorical cherry on top, with such an intimidating girl hanging around her meant no creeps attempted to come up to her or tried to make a pass. Though she wouldn't ever tell anyone that part, it kinda came off as if she was using the girl... That really wasn't the only reason tho! Swear!
But honestly, It was great!
She would have to make sure to sit next to the quiet girl as much as possible in the mornings that were to come. And after school, but that all depended on if the girl even headed home at the same time as she did. It was pretty unlikely if the girl attended any kinda clubs...
Maybe she could try to join a club too that way they could head back around the same time. But that is kinda a lot of work just to not have to interact with anyone on the train ride home... I mean sit next to the nice and interesting girl!
...Anyway, the point is there was no guarantee the quiet girl could or would even want to sit next to Kimi again.
... maybe she could secretly bribe the quiet girl with more kitty onigiri...
Eh.. the tall stranger couldn't possibly be that easy to sway...
right?
But hell, a girl could dream.

Barely ten minutes passed before Kimi found herself walking up to the school's large metal gates. The train ride to the school was only about twenty minutes. Meaning the commute to school and back home would only be about an hour in whole. Which was amazing compared to the girls middle school years. It used to take the girl almost twice that time just to get to her school in Okinawa.
