38. The Journey

-Jimins POV-

I was finally able to shake off the weakness Ive been feeling. Im happy since I can help out more fully around the house. "Daddy? Can I ask you something?" Mia said coming into the livingroom. I smiled up at her placing the shirt I was folding down. I patted the ground signalling her to join me. "Why cant I have the same last name as you and Appa?" I was taken aback not thinking she would ever bring it up. "Oh sweetheart. Its not an easy thing to fix, I mean it is." I started to say pulling her closer to me. I explained the process to her the best I could. "So if Appa adopts me, Ill be a Min?" I nodded smiling at the idea of changing her name. "I want to be Appas daughter completely. But would Mommy or Dad(Jungkook) be sad?" She said looking geniunely concerned over it.

I shook my head knowing they would be supportive. They both told me to do what we feel is neccessary for her. They trust Yoongi in caring for her. "If this is what you want princess, you should ask Appa. I can get all the papers he needs to sign for you." She nodded happily giving me a hug. She ran off to go back to playing with Yungmin. I felt overwhelmed with happiness as I cried. "Oh angel, whats wrong?" I looked up seeing Yoongi come into the livingroom. He sat Namseok down into his seat bouncy thing. "Whats the matter angel?" I smiled feeling him wipe away my tears. "Nothings wrong. Trust me." I said moving to lean against his chest. "Its happy tears then?" He said softly running his fingers through my hair. I giggled turning to peck his lips. "It is love." I said sitting up to finish the laundry.

He kissed my cheek moving to help me fold. We were able to just talk about everything and nothing at the same time. Im so proud of all his achievements. He won artist of the year and I won album of the year. We definitely had our own way of celebrating those achievements. "Can I convince you to join me on the patio for some wine? I can put Namseok down for a nap." I suggested putting on my best pouty face for him. "You play dirty. But yes, I would love that. Let me check on the girls." I giggled getting up as he smacked my butt. "Your Appa is so silly." I said pressing a kiss to his cheeks. I took him into his room rocking him softly. I sand softly to him watching as his eyes grew heavy. "Sleep well my prince." I said kissing his cheek tucking him in. I went to our room grabbing the monitor.

I placed the monitor on the table and went to get the bottle of wine and cups. Yoongi was already on the patio setting a blanket out for us to use. "C'mere beautiful." I smiled sitting beside him leaning into his side. I turned connecting our lips together as I felt him tug me closer. "I really want to touch you right now." He said against my lips once we pulled away for air. I pecked his lips feeling the same. "Maybe when they fall asleep." I poured him a cup and we sat drinking in comfortable silence. Well almost silent, we can hear the girls playing. "Your birthdays coming up. Anything special you want to do?" I asked tracing circles into his arm. "Just want to spend all day with my babies. Thats all I need." He said quietly and I glanced up to see he was smiling. Ill have to think of a special menu for that day. Make all his favorite meals.

**Time skip**

-Yoongis POV-

It was a pretty quiet day, Jimin was out with two younger ones. I was looking into some dance classes for Mia since she expressed that she wanted to learn. Shes always dancing around the house. I did promise her that we would support whatever dream she had. "Appa?" I turned around smiling seeing Mia in the doorway. "Hey peanut." I said motioning her to come inside the room. She came and laid on the bed playing games on my ipad. I found some good options I wanted to show Jimin later. I hope she really enjoys her time at these classes. "Hun? We are back now." I heard Jimin call out as Yungmins voice can be heard singing. She reminds me of Mia when she was younger. "Oh there they are." Jimin said coming with a smiling Namseok. "Appa! Foun' you." Yungmin squealed trailing behind Jimin. Shes the cutest, especially her smile seeing Mia is here too.

Jimin gave me Namseok and a kiss before going to make dinner. My family is coming over since its my birthday. I went into the kitchen seeing Jimin was putting things away. I wrapped my arms around him causing him to giggle. "Hows my birthday boy doing?" He said as I pressed kisses to his neck. I tilted his head back connecting our lips. "Mm hes very happy and in love." I said watching him smile. Is really possible to just be this beautiful? Hes perfection. I love seeing him walk around in my sweaters or his big shirts. Thats when hes prettiest to me. "Well, hopefully the rest of the night will keep you happy." I pecked his cheek moving to help him. Thats when my hand was slapped. "Nu uh. Out of my kitchen." He said shooing me away adorably. Man I love him so much.

The girls were in charge of decorations so I sat on the couch next to Namseok. He was in his bouncy seat babbling to himself. "Hello everyone!" I looked up seeing my parents walk in. "Oh my babies!" My Mom said as the girls ran to them. My Dad picked Mia up as my Mom carried Yungmin. "Oh my baby. C'mere." My Mom said gesturing for me to join them. I kissed her cheek before hugging my Dad. "Hello, Im so glad you made it." Jimin said walking over to my parents. Jimin interacting with anyone is the cutest thing. We talked for abit before the door opened. "Uncle Jae!" Mia said causing us to turn. Now that everyone was here we brought the food out. Thats when I noticed how fidgety Mia was being. Suddenly she got quiet.

I followed her to the kitchen when she went to get more food. "Sweetheart, are you feeling okay?" I said softly crouching down to her. "Oh yes Appa. Im great!" I nodded not feeling convinced but brushed it off. I joined the others again to see they were all laughing. "I love you so much." Jimin said once we all settled down for the gifts. I felt grateful for the love I recieved from my family. This is all I need in life. "Mias turn." I smiled sitting up to see she was walking over to me. "Happy birthday Appa." She said quietly handing me the envelope. I kissed her cheek pulling her onto my lap. Nothing prepared me for what I was going to pull out. Adoption papers. "What is it dear?" I heard my Mom say but I couldnt move. I could only sit in shock as tears began to form. "Mia." I said looking up at her for confirmation.

She smiled pulling me in for hug. I wrapped my arms around her crying. Is this really happening? "Can I be a Min too Appa?" She said handing ne a pen. "My peanut. I would be honored to be your Father. I love you so much." I said glancing over to see everyone was crying too. I kiss her cheek and tried to compose myself. I grabbed the pen and gladly signed my name on the different slots. I didnt want to press this matter because I knew she was mine. She always felt like my child. "I love you Appa." I smiled pressing another kiss to her forehead. This was seriously unexpected. Probably going to be the greatest birthdays I ever had. We spent the rest of the night cuddled up together. "I love you Minnie. Always and forever." I said cuddling into his side. He was drifting off to sleep as he smiled up at me. This is the best birthdays ever. My family made it amazing.
