Jacks P.O.V

You think it's great having the most hot girl as your mate would rock right?

Well maybe it would if you weren't the most uglier guy at your school. I have a geeky haircut, huge thick glasses, I'm lanky, and I'm covered with acne.

There's not an inch on my face that doesn't have a pimple, Yeah repulsive I know that's me. That's why when I turned 18 and accidentally brushed the most gorgeous girl at school with my filthy hands while I helped her pick her books due to my clumsiness, and felt an electric shock I was surprised.

Although she seemed to look passed my ugliness, she stared at me with loving eyes at the realization that I was her mate. I always thought that when I found my mate that she would demand a refund or something and try to find another mate.

Her loving eyes were like a signal for me and my wolf letting us know that she accepts us and wants to be with us. Instead of returning the acceptance I just walked away, I saw her eye go from loving to confused to hurt.

I walked faster trying to get as far away from her as I could. You probably don't understand why I'm walking away, but it's simple I don't want her to get hurt. I love her even though we just met I can tell that I love her the way my heart bested faster when her eyes showed lovingly to me.

She'll just get hurt all of her friends would leave her when they found out that I was her mate. A disgusting nerd was the mate of the most hot girl at school.

That's like social suicide, that's why it's better this way I repeated as I exited the school building even though school hasn't even begun I had to think of something, a way of telling her I can't be her mate without hurting her. Again it's better this way.

Melissa's P.O.V

I felt Myself being slammed into someone hard. Dammit I'm gonna be late to class if I don't hurry up, oh man all my books fell to the ground. Some guy just hit me with his backpack, which just so happened to be full if textbooks causing me to drop everything in my hand.

My textbooks scattered all over the floor I didnt even bother to see who it was due to my insane hurry and the fact the bell would ring any second. "oh, I'm so sorry I didn't see you, here let me help you" a slightly squeaky voice said. I wasn't a masculine deep voice that guys try to use to seduce you Which probably meant that he hadn't gone through puberty yet.

It was fine I kinda liked it, I didn't have to even look to know it was one of the ugly nerds that this school has, I looked up anyways because I didn't want to be rude.

I was shocked when I offered my hand "hi my names Melissa but you can call me Mely." he smiled and took my hand "Jack" he said but looked shocked when our hands met and caused a high voltage shock.

He pulled back and quickly got up willing his jeans like he touched a slimy toad. He walked away but quickened his speed. I stood there with my mouth open, completely taken by surprise, that guy was my mate.

Don't get me wrong I thought he was hot with his nerdy hair cut and his bold black glasses but what shocked me the most was that he walked away from me. I don't mean this to sound snobby but all the guys in this school either liked me or was gay, this guy was supposed to be my mate and he basically rejected me.

I quickly picked up my stuff as the bell rang I didn't care I went to the bathroom and stared at the full body mirror.

Why didn't he like me, did he think I was fat, had ugly hair, bad teeth no that's impossible I brush my teeth and floss everyday.

i have brown with some blond highlights, pale white teeth that are always clean and my natural nose looks like I had a nose job. So my dear mate why don't you like me?
