Chapter 3 - In Which The Gang's First Day on the road

TAYLOR'S POV

Finally. On the road. It's a long drive. 43 hours. I am driving, Karlie stole shotgun and Austin's in the backseat.

"I am thinking of something..trendy?" Karlie's voice beams. We were playing 20 questions in the car.

"Is it in the car?" Austin, asks her.

That has been his first question out of twenty since we started!

"Probably," karlie admits. "even though it's a horrible idea."

That's rattling my brain. Horrible idea but we do have it with us..what?

"Is it edible?" I ask, still looking at the road.

Karlie burst out laughing, and me and Austin stare at her.

"What's so funny?"

"If you ate it-" karlie bursts out laughing, again. "No. It's not edible."

"Okay...is it red?" I ask.

Karlie looks up at me, "they can. Any color honestly."

"Is it in a suitcase?" Austin asks.

"Yeah." Karlie gives him a simple answer.

"Is it clothing?" I blurt out.

"Yes," karlie admits. "It is."

"Would I wear one?" Austin asked.

Karlie brusts out laughing.

"Depends..do you wanna look like a girl?"

"...No." Austin laughed himself.

"Then no, you wouldn't."

"Do I wear them?" I shot in.

"Oh yes," karlie smiled. "All the time. Most of the time they are bad, bad, idea." Karlie teases a bit and I eyeball her.

"I know!" Austin squealed. "It's a crop top right?"

"Austin, no it's not, they are-"

"Yes! You win Austin Swift!" Karlie smiles.

Hurt, I look at karlie forcefully. "Bad idea?"

"Yeah, sorry Tay, but it's true."

I frown, and keep driving.

KARLIE'S POV

It's midnight. We checked into a hotel a hour ago. We drove 9 out of 43 hours we need to drive. Good head start. We are in a small county in New York called gensee. I don't know much about it, other then it's the city we are staying in tonight.

I feel my eyelids get sleepy, become thicker and thicker as I fall asleep.

* 3 DAYS LATER, TAYLOR'S POV *

"Hello, Seattle!" I jump out of our car. It's freezing. Why am I wearing a crop top?

Oh my god, karlie was right. I have a crop top problem.

"It's so beautiful," karlie comments on the city. "I'm gonna Instagram it."

Mentally rolling my eyes, I look at Austin who is admiring the sky.

"Hey Tay," karlie says and I instantly turn my focus to her. "It's just 7am, how about we spend the day in the city, us three?"

"I would love that."

"I'm in," I whisper, smiling, as we head out into the city of Seattle Washington.

Hey guys!!! Sorry I haven't updated in a week-ish. I got a new phone actually on New Year's Day. and Christmas time was stressful and busy. Very sorry. Also: sorry about having bold and italics in the chapter and then not. I used to have a thing on the old update for wattpad on my old phone that let me do bold, italics, and underlines, but it doesn't on my new phone anymore. I got a iPhone5c. So yeah.
