I woke up, in shock but I still can't believe I made it without a mate! All I want to do is go home and see my pack. I really want to see my dad too, it broke my heart to hear him cry especially since he doesn't usually due to him being the big bad alpha who acts tough all the time, unless it comes to his family.

I don't like being his weakness because it breaks my heart.

I quickly shoved all of my things in bags then I shoved everything into my mustang and began to drive home. It felt like forever before I pulled into my driveway. I left my stuff in my car and I ran for my house.

"Daddy, Connor! I'm home!" I shouted.

No response.

"Hello, I'm home! I survived," I shouted again.

Still no response so I went upstairs and found no one home. Great... well breakfast for me? I think yes. Chocolate chip pancakes here I come! By the time I finished eating my pancakes I heard the front door open.

"Dad is that you?" I asked.

"Quinnlyn?" I heard my brother, Connor ask.

"Hey Con, where's Dad and Mom?" I asked.

"Pack stuff, we thought you died last night," Connor said hugging me.

"Geez, you guys trying to get rid of me that soon?" I asked grinning.

"Well of course! And I'm really sorry for snapping at you at school, I just found out that Colleen's pregnant and it scared me to death," Connor said.

"Con, it's fine, I don't know what's wrong with me, but please just don't get mad again at me...okay?" I asked.

"I swear I will never ever do that again," Connor said.

"So how's Colleen and the baby?" I asked.

"We're good, definitely adjusting to her being pregnant but we're working together to get through it," he replied.

I smiled, "Congrats by the way."

"Thanks Aunt Quinn!" Connor said smirking.

"Hey Connor?" My mom yelled.

"Yeah mom?" Connor asked.

"Hey mom!" I yelled.

"Is that Quinnlyn?" My mom asked.

I laughed, "Nope it's an old woman."

"My baby girl has finally come home!" My dad yelled running into the kitchen.

I quickly ran to him and he engulfed me in a big, warm hug.

"I missed you so much dad, and I'm here to stay," I said smiling.

"Finally, I can't believe you lived through that!" My dad said smiling back at me.

"Well you're my dad, I'm strong because of you!" I said honestly.

"I'm sorry, but I refuse to let Quinnlyn stay here, she put shame on this family running away like that," my mom said.

I glared at her but then I turned to my dad and he was glaring at my mom too.

"Lucy, she's our daughter, and my baby girl, also she's the alpha, we're not kicking her out!" My dad shouted.

"Let her go Adam! I told her to come home but she didn't listen!" My mom shouted back.

"Connor, take your sister out for some ice cream," My dad said calmly to us and smiled at me then hugged me one last time and before he left he said, "I'm so happy you're home baby girl, I love you."
