Celebratory Dinner

I get a reservation at the Mile High Club to celebrate Anas new job. She was given a new position at Grey Publishing and she earned it. She is now an full fledged editor and is 8n charge of the on line sites she created. Her salary has doubled and her work load has increased and her hours are varied. So tonight was a good night to take her out.
Ana
Dad this is so unexpected, you didn't have to do this I would have been happy with dinner at home. I know you hate monkey suits lol
Ray
Well it is not everyday you move up at work and it looks like you are doing very well. You look so much better and so much healthier. We get seated and it nice here and Ana turns heads in her little black dress. I want to punch a few of those guys. Okay we get my daughter is a hottie start paying attention to your wives and dates will you now? Ana hasn't noticed all the eyes watching her.
Christian Grey
I have my table for tonight and my family is arriving shortly. I am led toward my table and spot Ray and Ana Steele. I stop and say hello and invite them to my table and have them add chairs and table to the area. It is semi private and the way guys are staring at Ana I think it would make her dad feel better. Ana and the host lead the way and we get seated and my family finally arrives.

Omg Ana you look so much better, how are you doing?
Ana
I still have flashbacks but they are getting better. I am adjusting to working again and that helps.
Ray
She was promoted as well, she created some on line sites. We are celebrating her advancement.
Carrick
I look at Christian and he says hey HR gave her the promotion after her hard work and the on line suggestions she created. I had nothing to do with her advancement. I tell her congratulations, but the damage is already done I see it in her and Rays eyes.
Mia
I have heard about Ana and what happened to her at work. She seems calmer than I would be though. Elliott is finally here with some blonde bimbo.
Elliott
I introduce Kate to my parents then my family. We meet Ana and Ray Steele.
Kate
Hey weren't you in my graduating class? You were my competition for Valedictorian and lost by a smidgen. So how do you know the Greys? I really didn't like her much. Now she is hobnobbing with the Greys. She really is not of the caliber social wise to fit in never was.
Ana
God why me? Kate has no idea of my life or my family's wealth. We keep our wealth to ourselves. Unlike her and her family who flaunt theirs. My car is used and runs and is maintained all the time. My home is modest and in a good area as is my dads home. Security is tight on both of our homes and now tight on me.
Christian
Ana is an employee who has very bright future with GEH and she was celebrating her advancement so I invited her and her father to join us for dinner. Kate has not been fond of me since I told her to take a hike at a social event we were at at the same time. So she moved onto Elliott the same night. She didn't care that he had a date with him. And she is acting like she is better than Ana and her father.
Ray
Aren't you the blonde they wrote in the men's restroom about Kate? You are that Kavanaugh from college right? She turns bright red and Ana touches my hand in an attempt to have me let it go.
Elliott
I look at Kate and lean and whisper be quiet for once in your life. Dad already has issues with you don't make it worse. I can't have my family upset if we are going to date. I will choose them over you any day.
Kate
Mr Steele I have no clue what Kavanaugh they mean. I have never been to see the writing. But anyway congratulations Ana.
Ana

Wow if Ana doesn't like Kate then she might just be a good person after all. I just hope she isn't like all the others trying to use Christian. Elliott must have told Kate to be quiet and be nice. He looked very serious as he whispered to her. Dad was none to happy with her after the last dinner we had with her in attendance. Lilly who is after Christian was coming on to him big time. Finally Kate just said really he hates you Lilly can't you see that? Dad had a few words with her and Elliott after Lilly ran from the house and left. I mean it is after all my family's  home and they decide how they handle difficult guests not her. Dad told her that as well. He told her and Elliott that her behavior towards their guest seeing she is one was unacceptable and she wouldn't be welcome if she did it again.
Elliott
Kate please remember that you are also a guest and behave. Can you find it in your heart to do that please?
Kate
Okay for you I will, but I don't like the Steele's and won't like them. I tell him that if we see each other then we need to steer clear of the Steele's at all costs.
Ray
This girl has no idea the hornets nest she just stirred up. Carrick and Grace don't like her attitude and neither does any of us. Something tells me that she won't be around long with that attitude. Being with Elliott she can't stop eyeing Christian every chance she can. He pays no attention to her. I finally start a conversation about fishing and tell some of the funny stories about Ana falling off the boat and catching a fish in her clothing. The evening went better after that, the Greys invited us to their bbq party for the weekend and we accepted.
