More of a family (a Smosh x reader story)

The Nightmare

You fell asleep pretty fast but it was a good thing Courtney stayed too because what was about to happen, let's just say, isn't something you would want to remember.

Everything was dark I looked around to see the windows where shut and the darkness filled up the room I was tied to a chair and my mouth had duck tape on it I tried to scream but it was muffled by the tape a dark figure Emerged from the dark to reveal a dark Damien with a sinister smirk on his face "why y/n why did you make me do this to you I guess you'll never learn" from the corner of your eye you saw Shayne and Ian corner you and hold you, still Damien grabbed a metal bat and held it above you, he ripped off the tape so you could speak "D Damien P please d don't d do t this I I'm s sorry" you begged for him to let you go but he just laughed and his eyes went dark he raised the bat to hit you and...

Y/n? Y/n! Wake up!!" You shot up in bed to see a very worried Courtney, a scared Olivia and an anxious Sarah sitting by your bed side "Y/n!! Thank God Your awake!!" Courtney pulled you into a hug as you looked around the room more of the girls came to your room and not to far behind the guys all scattered in all having worried looks on their faces, you saw Damien enter but couldn't look at him in the face "I I'm s sorry" you stuttered "for what Y/n?" Olivia was next to pull you into a hug and soon everyone was hugging you.

You whispered to Courtney "is it ok if I talk to you alone" she nodded in agreement and told everyone to leave "so what is it what happened?" She looked at you with a worried look "I i h had a n nightmare but..." you trailed off trying to look anywhere but at her "what is it?" "Well t the n nightmare was o of d Damien" her expression changed to a shocked one "really Damien, well do you mind if I ask what happened?"

"I don't really want to talk about it right now" she smiled "I understand well why don't we head out and have some fun get your mind off of that nightmare" you agreed and walked out with Courtney to everyone outside "hey guys, hey Y/n how are you feeling now?" Shayne asked walking over to you both "um better but I just want to get my mind off of it"

You all decided to play a game of truth or dare and some dares where pretty extreme, it was Noah's turn and Shayne asked him m, truth or dare "hey Noah truth or Dare?" "Uh dare" Shayne suddenly got super happy "I'm glad you choose Dare I just so happen to have flavored crickets on hand, I dare you to eat the Salt n' Vinegar ones" Noah groaned and took the crickets from Shaynes hand "fine I'll do it. I'm not chickening out" he took a bite of the cricket and one of its legs flew at you "nope nope nope nope nope, NOT TODAY!!!!" You jumped up and ran to the farthest spot near Ian

Everyone starts laughing and Ian dragging me towards the water and throws me in with all my clothes still on "IAN, REALLY NOW MY CLOTHES ARE ALL WET" he just laughed but when he looked back at the water you where gone and the next thing he knew was that he was being pulled by you and dragged into the water soaking all his clothes too"HAHA THATS WHAT YOU GET" he started chasing you and you swam away from him going underwater again and catching him off guard by pulling him under the water too but not enough to drowned him.

Soon everyone was joining you guys in the water and it became a water party, hours of fun and swimming went by and you decided to get out and grab your towel, you sat under a tree and watched everyone in the water, Damien saw you and waved, you returned the favor, shortly later everyone was getting out of the water.

Damien came over and you both walked to the campfire where everyone was walking to "so Y/n how do you like working at Smosh?" Damien started up a conversation "oh well tbh I love it, it's been a dream of mine for a few years and now it's finally coming true!" You smile at him and sat by him and Shayne "well I would like to first off say thank you to our newest member of Smosh, Y/n!! Where happy to have you here and we hope you like it here" Ian raised his cup and everyone cheered.

Courtney started chanting "speech, speech, speech!!!" And Olivia, Noah and Shayne joined in soon everyone was chanting speech, you rose from your seat and everyone quieted down "well I just want to thank you all for everything believe it or not I was a huge fan for along time till I met you at Vidcon and we went from there, I'm so blessed to have you guys in my life so thank you!!" You sat back down and Courtney got out of her seat to hug you followed by Olivia, Sarah, Keith, Noah, etc..

The rest of the night you played games and ate s'mores and just had a blast with your friends, this is a great start to your new life!!
