Both- In  2001 a baby girl was born named Marinette. When she turned thirteen she got the ladybug miraculous but when she became guardian she started acting like she was queen of the world so all the kwamis got together and turned her to porcelain. Of course they stilled cared and didn't want her to die with one simple blow to the face. Her and Adrien reaveled each other and kwamis can whisper to their holders even if they weren't the right ones any way Plagg had told him Mari was made of porcelain so he became her protected along with Chloe since Lila and Miracle Queen Chloe had no one so for 4 years she didn't show up when she did she was still going through depression and so she wore her hair down and wore really baggy clothes (due to her cutting ) so when she heard about the curse she got her miraculous from Mari ( read got as stole) to help her. Her new name was  Lady Abielle since stuck with royalty he outfit change to a gold bodice with a black tutu and knee high sock with black boots with a tiara and black faded to honey bold hair,her mask had mostly black and gold design. But back to the curse it can only go away if she find true love. Blah Blah Blah then you have this boy who feels that he doesn't belong such and stuff.
