Chapter 8(Royal Bestowing)

Kelly's POV
Its Wednesday today,the whole palace is busy for the royal bestowing,The whole week I haven't contacted any of my friends,I am currently busy with the royal studies and everytime I try to focus that jerk Kelvin distracts me he keeps getting on my nerves.
"Your majesty,you have some visitors"Carissa said I turned around I saw Anna,Andreah,and Mae they are dressed up in elegant dresses,while I am still in a silk robe my hair is still tied around hair curlers.

"You look so pretty Kelly"Anna said.

" That's my Kelly,always pretty"My mon said cheerfully and the girls laughed.

"How did you guys know?"I asked confused while Minerva took of my curlers.

"Andrei invited us,He said that your absence are because of your royal studies"Mae explained while rolling her eyes.

"Your engaged at a young age,Mas nauna ka pa sa akin"Andreah said while pouting, I giggled.

"Your majesty,you should get changed the royal bestowing is about to start"Minerva said while slightly bowing,I sighed as i stood up and grabbed the dress.

The dress was long sleeved, red and long it also came with a  sash,small tiara,and a brooch the shoes were nude in color as always.
"Its your engagement you should be happy"Andreah said,I rolled my eyes.

"Andreah is right,Be happy"Mom added.

"Why should I be happy?, I am getting married to someone I don't even like"I said irritated,the maids and my friends laughed.

"Don't speak to soon baka mamaya mafall ka sa kanya"Mae said teasing me.

"Girls he is not my type at all"I said as I put the sash over my head.Is stood up and head towards the lounge as I entered I saw the royal family sitting and the 4 Princes are talking to each other while holding their wine glass.
"You looks so elegant my dear"the empress said approaching me with a big smile she cupped my face.

"Indeed she is your majesty"the first queen(mother of Kelvin)said.

"You look really pretty tonight"Andrei said approaching me i lowered my gaze as I remember what happened at the royal park or the royal garden.

"Wow,Im impressed you look much more stunning"Mark said breaking the tension between me and Andrei.

"The guest are waiting for our arrival,Kelvin you should stay with your consort and guide her through the night"The empress said,Kelvin reach put his hand to me i was hesitant for the second but instantly reach his hand.
"You guys are being too awkward,your just holding hands you know"John said while the others held their laugh.

"Im just not used to it yet"I said they instantly stopped helding their laugh as they knew I was serious.We head towards the reception hall as we enter loud noises of the crowd welcomed us, I saw prime ministers,Prince and Princesses,Kings and queens, Presidents,and news reporters,I felt nervous so I tightened my hand around Kelvins hand.

"Are you nervous?"Kelvin asked I just nodded and he look at me.

"Don't be,huwag mo kaming ipahiya.Okay?"He said not very comforting as I thought.Every one clapped as the Empress and Emperor head infront.

"We are gathered here together for the royal family is having another member.The 1st prince is getting married to that fine lady beside him.Today is the day where we bestow and shower them with our blessings"The emperor said while facing the crowd.

"The royal banquet has now began"the chief maid said then the crowd started talking and spreading,Im really not into crowded places,it so uncomfortable.Kelvin head towards the guests while l just sit on the chair closing my eyes.

"It's still early to sleep"A familiar voice spoken up,I opened eyes i saw Andrei infront of me carrying two glasses one wine and one juice,he offered the juice and I gladly took it.

"Sorry about the,you know"He said nervously, I smiled.

"No its okay"I answered shortly.

"Okay,the royal bestowing is about to start prepare yourself"He said while looking infront.

"Let us welcome the 1st Prince and his royal consort"The empress said while looking at me then Kelvin,Kelvin grabbed me from my seat and we went towards the Empress and Emperor.

"Please kneel down,both of you"The emperor said and We kneeled infront of them.

"By the power invested on me  the emperor of Ceasariahne, I now blessed you with our blessings on this upcoming marriage,May the both of you live as cheerful, happy,and peaceful as the Kingdom"The Emperor said while giving us a box which we opened and it was rings,silver ones with our names engraved on it.

"I the empress of Ceasariahne give my blessings to this lovely couple,May they both be faithful,devoted,and be trustworthy to each other,I give you this brooches to symbolize your companionship and your binding union,May the both of you take care of it"The empress said while pinning the brooches on our sash.They signalled us to stand up we stand up and bowed to the crowd,the crowd started clapping their hands as we head back to our seat.Kelvin went outside while opening his phone,I bet its Jayne.My eyes are starting to get heavier so I also head outside as I head outside I heard Kelvin so I head towards his direction.
"Maybe we should stop our relationship,Im getting married soon and I am forbidden in seeing you.This wouldn't work out.I can't make you a concubine beacause my future wife needs my care,If you agreed on my proposal you should be the one beside me right now not some other girl"He said straight forwardly,Wow need his care?

"Don't be sorry,You can achieve your dreams now no one is on your way your very free"he said again,I can see how his emotions doesn't match what he is saying.I felt sad he could've disagreed but why did he agree if he loves Jayne that much?

"Please move on and find another man that is suitable for you,My consort is waiting for me so i need to go"He said ending the call he turned facing me he was shocked but didn't show it.
"How long have you been there?"he asked.

"Long enough to hear your emotional goodbye"I said he slightly giggled.

"Break up you should say"He added.He looks at behind me I followed his gaze and saw Andrei behind me.His face shows how irritated he was.
Kelvin approach me while looking at his watch.
"We should probably be heading to our chamber now"he said I frowned.

"Our Ch-Chamber?"I asked he nodded.

"You didn't study the tradition on every royal bestowing?"he asked i shook my head.

"After receiving our blessings we will have to spend the night in one room together"he said I widened my eyes he laughed.

"Don't worry,Even if you go nak*d infront of me i won't touch a single part of you"he said,I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"So are we going or not?'he said I just stayed there silent.

"I'll head first,follow me after"he said before leaving he grabbed my face and kissed my forehead.I was caught of guard by his sudden action that I froze on my spot,My heart is beating like crazy,No way,No,No,No!It can't be,I cannot fall for him.His not my type Kelly calm down....
