Na-ri nodded and sat down next to him, she put on headphones as she started up the program they used for mock competitions.

"How about we start with the others first?" he asked, "I'll go last." She chuckled and waved her hand signing she was fine with it.

"Seo Woong can start first then," she said as she motioned for him to come. "Since you spoke up first." The boys around him laughed as they pushed him forward. "Ppalli" she said impatiently since he was dragging his feet as he walked over.

About an hour later she had defeated everyone except Jihun, whom she had very narrowly lost to. She stretched her arms in the air, making the team of boys giggle and gasp while their captain, manager, and boss rolled their eyes at them. She narrowed her eyes at them and then stood up.

"Now that I have proven my worth to you all I'll tell you why I left Ace." she said as she started to take off her mask. "I left because I learned my value on that team was for nothing but my beauty." And with that she had completely removed her mask. She looked at each of them, all of whom were looking at her in awe and in disbelief. "I want to be known for my skills, not this." She had said as she waved her hand in front of her face.

"For someone who doesn't want to be known for their looks, you sure are on a lot of ads and billboards." Jihun said scoffing. She sighed.

"I do that because of my mother," she said annoyed, "Otherwise she would not have let me study what I wanted." He looked at her surprised. "That was my deal with her, do the jobs she wants— and I get to do what I want. Does that satisfy you?" she asked him. She did not bother telling him why she continued to do it— it was unnecessary. He shrugged and then proceeded to go up the stairs. She looked at her new boss and manager and bowed. "I'll be back tomorrow morning like we discussed earlier." And then walked away and outside.

The conversation had left her slightly annoyed and angry all over again, she growled in annoyance as she put on her mask and started to stretch. She decided to run home since she did not live that far away, and it would hopefully help her shake off the annoyance. As she was stretching, she heard the faint sounds of giggling, she quickly turned around to see the group of boys looking at her through the front lobby window. They quickly dispersed and tried but failed at seeming like they had not been looking at her. She shook her head and adjusted her ponytail before running off towards her family's house.

Jihun watched discreetly from his dorm window as he saw Na-ri run off. No wonder she left, he thought to himself, they were stupid not to be using her to her full potential. He understood fully now why she wanted to compete against them all before telling them. It was clever of her to do it that way. He turned from the window and went into the bathroom to clean up. The boss and noona had informed him that Na-ri would be in the room next door, which meant they would be sharing the bathroom. Boss had just installed a new lock on the connecting bathrooms doors so that they could tell when it would be occupied. The other team members shared rooms and had a dorm style bathroom, so sharing was something they were used to. Jihun was now going to have to get used to sharing, and with a girl at that.

Na-ri entered the code to the front door and stepping inside. As she took off her shoes and shuffled into her slippers she shouted out to her parents.

"Eomeoni, Abeoji! I'm home," she shuffled towards the living room, where she saw her parents reading and watching the news. She bowed in greeting and told them about her afternoon. Her mother sighed but accepted the news while her father smiled brightly and was happy for his daughter. She excused herself and went up to her room to shower and pack her things.

It had been a long day so Na-ri decided to skip dinner and have a light snack once she had finished packing. She sat on her bed as she texted Jisu eonnie, letting her know what time she would arrive in the morning. She looked around one last time to see if she forgot anything before going to bed.
