I fell asleep at some point, and when I woke up Void wasn't there but then I saw him jump back in, he sits in front of me "well it seems you slept the entire time"
I nod and he gives me something "here, for staying out of trouble while I was gone"
I smile and look at it, it's a strawberry and cream lollipop, I open the wrapper and put in my mouth, and he starts talking about something "well, you seem to be on the news now, at least that means everyone would know you're not skipping school and actually just ran away"
I smile at that "but if they do find you, you get sent to the orphanage, and I don't have to tell you what they've done to some of the kids there..."
I frown at that one "I can't believe those freaks stayed in business..."
Void looks back to me, licking up the lollipop "just so you know, you can't rely on me just giving you food"
I am confused by this "but why?"
Void answers "the others don't like me spending time away from them and will find a way to make me stop seeing you, I can't keep a lie up for too long"
I take the lollipop out of my mouth "but you're good at sneaking to places, you can sneak away and"
Void immediately stops me "they're good at it too, we all are, they'd know if one of us tried to sneak away, and if they find us we're BOTH dead"
I am insistent on him staying "you can just make another lie"
he is insistent of leaving "what other lie do I have?! If I tried to say I had to keep a lie of friendship with someone else they'd get suspicious and not let me!"
I just look away, disappointed "oh..."
Void sighs "well I'm leaving, try not to die while I'm gone"
I quickly look too him "wait!"
But he's already gone, so I'm just left there, to think... horrible...
