A Japanese man puffs as he follows along the path, although of how hard it was to go along with it. The snow falls hard, indicating that a slight snowstorm is currently happening. The man shivered, wanting to seek shelter. To rest for a short while, he sits down on a boulder on the pathway. As he sits down, he places his pouch right beside him as he tries to inhale the air so it could possibly aid. He sighs, wondering why he took a hike in the first place.
After a few minutes, he stood up abruptly, not wanting to waste the rest of his time sitting on top of the boulder with low temperature. He begins to walk forward, knowing that he is closer towards the nearest building, yet still far. As he continues to walk, he tries to grab something from his pouch, he realizes something fatal; he lost his pouch. Sighing, he turned back to get it. The snow continues to fall.

The snowflakes were a complicated design, a beautiful distraction of the disastrous weather of the ever falling snow in the sky. It moves slowly, as if the earlier snow storm had stopped, not showcasing any signs of the hardship that gave the winter forest it's shape as of the moment. Northern Japan, which was honestly expected, was filled to the brim with snow, not seeing a trace of dirt left uncovered by the season. Some of the animals seemed to be in hibernation, sleeping through the sleepy winter season, their fur trying to keep them warm from the everlasting cold the winter would bring. However not all creatures seem to be seem to be asleep at the cold hour. The foxes are trying to hunt for their prey, although the sky wasn't as clear as the springtime. In another area the wolves are, too, hunting for their own survival. These two predators, although seemingly unlikely, both have a common goal; to hunt. They hunt for necessity, and to fulfill their hunger. However, they are not the only creatures with the will to survive the cold.
A man struts his legs, stumbling on the snow. He gasps, trying to inhale the air that he needed in order to give him the push he needed in order to survive the snow. He clings toward every tree he sees, trying regain his balance. Although he was not as damaged as expected, he could feel his vision blackening as he tries to make his way forward without falling. The air was cold all around him. Although he was a traveler that wanders his way through the paths of Japan, he was seemingly lost. He sighs, wondering how fate had lead him here. He ponders about his life decisions as he continues on.
But then, a sight appears before him. It was a lake, that seemed to continue to be unfrozen, not matter the freezing circumstances around it. However, like the temperature, it was freezing, an expected quality of the winter. It seemed like the sight in front of him did not hold any sort of creature above the clear waters of the lake except for the known extravagant creatures that were as white as the snow he set foot on. He stared at the magnificent creatures in front of him; swans. Gentle creatures from afar and seemingly graceful ones as well. However, that wasn't the only majestic creature he saw.
In a nearby lone tree was a Japanese women, sitting still under a tree without leaves, seeming dead yet is alive. Although she seemed to have a slim body, it was covered with layers of winter clothing. If her presence wasn't more strange enough, her winter clothes seem to be in all whites. Her eyes seemed to be closed, as if she was resting from some sort of journey. Whatever journey she must've had before, it certainly did tire her out to the point of her resting in the snow; a place she shouldn't be seeking comfort.
