This is for @Rennie3628 just because she tried to ask that this doesn't happen. Thanks for reading darlin'.

Kaldur is 17 and Percy 18 in this, because I wanted him to be younger in this. Aurthur is Percy's half brother, so they're more closely related as well.

It was around four in the afternoon, and both teams had just got back from training, the Young Justice versus the Leaguers, although Aquaman had gotten an urgent call about his family, and left fairly quickly around halfway through.

They went to the common room just as the zeta tubes announced Aquaman's arrival.

However, they were not expecting him too walk in with tears very freely flowing down his face, and a pen clenched tightly in his hands, an awkward young man with curly auburn hair and crutches following slightly behind him, although they all opted too ignore him for the time being.

Both martians in the room winced at the despair they could feel rolling off him in waves.

Kaldur stood up and walked over, "My king, what is wrong?" he asked.

Orion took a shuddering breath before speaking, "There was an attack on camp," he said, although it had too have been much more important than it seemed judging by the way that Kaldur's face paled.

"What. Happened." he said, speaking much more forcefully than any of them had ever seen him dare speak too his king, although Aquaman didn't seem too notice as he stared down at the pen in his hands, that Kaldur just now seemed too see, and one it was in his sights, a soft "no," could be heard coming from the normally disciplined leader, reminding everyone just how young he really was.

Aurthur, as I guess he was too be called in the civilian clothes he currently wore, gulped as the answer too his protege's question was slowly pulled out of him. "They won, with very few injuries, and only three deaths," he started, obviously hesitant too go on.

"Who. Died." Kaldur all but growled, now glaring at the pen.

Now, Aquaman looked up, though he still refused too make eye contact with Kaldur, "Lou Ellen, a child of Hecate...her boyfriend, Clovis, and-," here he cut himself off, looking down at the pen, before placing it in Kaldur's hands, and everyone saw it roll over so they could all see that stamped on the side in what appeared too be gold ink, where you would normally find a brand name, instead was written παλίρροια.

Aurthur quickly glanced at Diana, before choking out one word; although with this one word, everyone could practically see Kaldur's world come crashing down around him, and the martians doubled over from the grief, not only radiating off of him but also from Orion, as though saying it out loud made it real too him, and surprisingly, Diana, who had tears running down her face when she heard it. The rest of the teams had sad looks, not only from seeing their grieving teammates, but because they had all heard stories, in which she was the main feature.

This word, this word was not just a word, but a name. The name of a legend who had led armies and risked her life a million times over for her friends and family. The name of a girl who the king of Poseidonis boasted about being the brother of. Who the infamed daughter of Zues often spoke highly of, not hesitating too tell the tales of her cousin. Who the esteemed protege of Aquaman often told stories of too motivate his team, or sometimes just for their amusement. The name of a girl who sacrificed herself so that her friends could live. The name of a girl, who in the end made a move just a little bit too daring too try too help her friend out of a tight spot. The name of a girl that, although having already overused her powers, a girl whose sword had been swinging for so long, she could barely lift it, charged into battle against enemies who were targeting her closest friend. The name of a girl, who just barely made it out of that fight alive, having demolished most of the enemy, and still got stabbed in the back, by the spear of a monster that had been tormenting her for too long, a monster who masqueraded as a cheerleader the first time they met. The name of a girl who had lifted the sword that now lay disguised in Kaldur's hands, countless times too save others, not even bothering too save herself. The name of a girl whose heart ached for those she couldn't save, so she tried ten times harder too help those she thought she could. The name of a girl whose fatal flaw of loyalty stuck with her 'til the end when she told her oldest friend she wasn't sorry. The name of a girl, who in the face of death, looked Grover Underwood in the eyes and said, "I'll never regret saving you G-man, you're my best friend. Always have been, always will be". The name of a girl who refused too die without asking her first real friend too make sure that her boyfriend knew she loved him, who fought Thanatos' control over her soul until she had drawn a promise from him that he would tell Kaldur himself. The name of a girl who had begged with her last breath that no one blame themselves for her death, and that she didn't see any of them for a long time. The name of a girl who had saved the world. The name, Percy Jackson.

Grover told them all this. Grover told them all this and more. Grover, told them everything, and before taking his leave, went up too the still crying Kaldur and said too him,"My best friend loved you more than anyone can even begin too comprehend, but don't let your love of her, blind you too what life has too offer."
