Narrator's POV

"That's already your presentation?"

"Y-yes, Mr. Choi." You replied anxiously.

"Ms. Y/N, even a newbie would do better than that. You're wasting our time." Choi Soobin, your boss, said harshly before exiting the meeting room.

Your office mates tried to comfort you, telling that it was actually great. You told them you were fine though you weren't. It has been one year and a few months since you started working here in this company. But your boss never did ever complimented nor appreciated your efforts. He would always scold you because he said your works weren't really good. You were trying your best to achieve what he wanted, but it looks like you can't really reach his standards.

As you walked back to your desk, your friend, Sihyeon left a coffee there. This somehow lifted your mood up. Your day was going worse but your thankful someone still cared for you. You sat down first and took a sip from your drink.

Bang!

You were startled by the bang as you were in daze. You turned around to see Soobin who just put a mountain of papers. When I say mountain, as in a lot. You then stood up and bowed down before him.

"Ms. Y/N, I want you to finish and redo all of these within a week." He said with authority.

"How about the presentation, Mr. Choi?"

"Don't worry about that. I already reassigned someone who is reliable."

You clenched your fist as you heard those. You were insulted by his statement.

Just wait till I reach my limits , Choi fxxxing Soobin!  You shouted in your mind.

"Okay Mr.Choi. I'll start working on these tomorrow." You said as you saw that it was already your out time.

"No. I want you to start tonight."

"But Mr. Choi-"

"I said now." Soobin said with a very serious expression on his face.

As he walked away, you can't help but to curse him on his back. You have enough with his attitude but you can't lose this job at the same time. If it weren't because you need money for living, you won't be working for this arrogant man.

"Why can't he just disappear?" You muttered under your breath.

You looked at the pile of works and just sighed as you knew you can't do anything. You sat down again and started working off the whole night.

Days have passed and your deadline gets nearer and nearer. Good thing there were only few papers left. You were so exhausted that you barely get time for your sleep. Your other friends tried helping you but your evil boss told them not to.

It was now your lunch time and Sihyeon told that she would treat you. You sat down at a table and poked the food she bought you. You didn't have the appetite to eat which made her worried about you.

"Hey Y/N, your food will get cold."

"O-oh"

"Are you sure you're fine?" She asked with concern.

"It's just... I had enough with that Soobin!" You dropped your utensils, forgetting that they were other people eating at the cafeteria.

"Why? What happened again?"

"I really hate his guts! He's getting in my nerves every time!" You tried to control your temper as you thought about him.
