Have you ever been scared of yourself? Your thoughts? Your past? Your future? Scariest thing to think of is what will happen next. Will you be alone? Will you be with the ones you love? What will happen? Is it good? Or bad? Some people have their future already planned out for them while the ones who do not... fear the future.
If you got a letter in the mail with the date and cause of when you pass... would you open it? In my opinion, I would. I wish I could be aware of what will cause me to pass and when. Is it something I caused myself by a stupid action? Or will I pass on naturally. I could say my final goodbyes and farewells to others.
But let me ask you this. Are you happy with yourself currently? Are you not? If not, ask yourself why. Is there anything you can change? If so, why not change them. People seem to forget the power they uphold. If you have the power to change something, why avoid it?
What is your biggest regret? Why do you regret it? Can you fix it? If not, why? Is it fearing the future instead of living for today?
Many people spend their day out with friends, going to see movies, going shopping, playing video games, etc. What about you? What was the best day of your life? What did it include? Think about a time where you were genuinely happy and didn't care about anything but what exciting things were happening at that exact moment.
Not many people can say they have ever had a best day of their life. Just a normal day. Nothing different.
Think about a time where you were at your lowest point. Now think about a time you were at the highest. What series of events happened that caused you to be happy?
Never doubt power. Never doubt yourself. You can do anything. You matter. You are cared for. You are beautiful. Do not ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I can promise you there is someone out there that cares for you whether you know it or not. Understand yourself. Team up with yourself. Do not let anyone blame you for their faults. You are you. If they make you feel the need to change yourself to match their perspective.. don't. Be you. Be yourself. Love yourself.
Take a mental day. Get off your phone or your computer or whatever you are tuning in on... and relax. Go outside. Tell your family/friends you love them. Pick up new hobbies. Learn a new language. Do what you enjoy. Write music. Write poems. Read. Have. Fun.
