Chapter 18: Truth

JIMIN'S POV

The loud noise coming from the alarm wake me up. I switch my position to right side ready to hug my fiance but he's gone.

" He leave already " I whisper to myself

I prepare myself for an hour and head to the garden to see grandma.

" Grandma " she turn her face to me when she heard me and wait for me to sit beside her

" You woke up early today hmm? " she said smiling at me as I smiled back

We both look at the calm water of the river not too far from our place then I noticed her drink her coffee and took a deep breath before she hold my hand to see the ring in my finger.

" I'm so happy he's ready to start a new life now " I just smiled at her then she look into my eyes
" That's all because of you Jimin, you prove to him that love still exist in this world "

" Grandma you're making me tear up " I jokingly said

" I know you can help him to become better but.. " she paused for a moment and bring his attention back to the river
" becoming better is different from getting healed from all the pain " I look at her still trying to understand what she meant

" What do you mean grandma? "

" Forgiveness Jimin, he needs to forgive to make himself free from the past " she smiled at me before she stand and offer her hand to make me come with her.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

" Mom, Dad how are you there? Did you missed me? " I said smiling while looking at their gravestone
" I'm sorry for not visiting since then but honestly I missed you both everyday "

I didn't speak again and just keep on smiling at their names on the gravestone as if their names are the reflection of all their smiles.

" Mom, Dad you know what I'm already engaged " just by hearing that words on my own makes me happy

For sure if they are still here my mom would say 'Aigoo my baby boy is a big man now' she just love calling me that and dad would definitely say 'son be a good husband but be sure to give me grandson as soon as possible' I can't help it but to laugh at my own thoughts as if I am really hearing their voice.

" Actually he's a boy but don't worry for sure you're gonna like him. He always took care of me just like you mom and guess what he even learned how to bake your special chocolate cake " I brag while smiling proudly

" and dad about your grandson we can adopt, remember what you told me? Even a child that doesn't really come from yours can also be the greatest gift in your life. Actually you made me confused before but now I understand it. Just by hearing a child call me daddy makes my heart flutter for real "

I start to imagine everything and I know if someone sees me smiling here alone would definitely think I'm crazy. I look at their gravestone again and took a deep breath and say the real reason why am I here.

" Mom I'm sorry if I didn't keep my promise to you before. I became the person you don't want me to be. All I wanted to do is give justice for you but I didn't notice that I'm hurting lot of people "

All the memories went back from how I shoot all the drug lords that owes me lots of money, how I always shout to my hyungs and started disrespecting them and how I always beat Jimin before. Fck I hate myself for hurting them specially him.
