This is another short one shot. Sorry if you don't like this ship, I just thought it would be cute.

"Come on Ed! Lets go get candy apples!" Ed and Al were at a new years festival and were wearing yukatas. Al started walking ahead of Ed to the candy apple stand. "Okay, but don't leave my side!" Al stopped walking and turned back around to Ed.

Al smiled softly at Ed. "Okay." They walked over to the stand and bought the candy apples. "Lets find somewhere to see the fire works." Al nodded and linked his arms with his brother, walking around to find a good place to see the fireworks.

They had found a spot on top of a 2 story building. "This should be good enough!" Al said while leaning on the railing and looking towards the sky where the fireworks would go off.

"You know Al...This is the first time in years since we've had a new year's while your soul wasn't in that steal armor." Ed also leaned against the railing. "Yeah, it finally feel excited about it this year."

Ed smiled and moved closer to Al, their shoulders touching. Al looked at Ed from the corner of his eyes and gently blushed. Ed held his hand, gently rubbing his thumb on the back of Al's hand.

"Ed...?" Al looked at Ed with wide eyes. "The fireworks are gonna go off in a few seconds..." Ed said with a quiet but happy voice. They could hear distant counting in the distance.

Ed looked at Al and as soon as they made eye contact, they both felt a spark in their hearts.

Their faces started to inch closer to each other, their noses touching.

They started to hear the explosions of the fireworks and the big flashes of light.

Their lips gently pressed against each other, their arms wrapping around each other and their chests pressed together.

"Happy New Year Ed."
