'Ladybug, behind you!' I screamed as the Dark Cupid shot her back with an arrow.
Ladybug gasped, falling onto the floor in pain as her lips as her lips became dark and her beautiful face turned into a menacing one.
'Nooo!' I screamed, rushing to her aid, as she stood up, swinging her yo-yo angrily.

'Give me your fucking miraculous now before I finish you, you stupid cat!' she growled, throwing her yo-yo at me so hard it knocked me onto the floor.
'My Lady, you have to snap out of it.' I replied as she sat on top of me, tilting my chin up.

I was so lost in her bluebell eyes, I didn't realise her hand travelling down to my hand, sliding my ring off my hand before I quickly snapped back to reality, taking my hand back and shoving he off me. The faint voice of ladybug echoed in my head as I concentrated on what she said.
*Flashback*
'Nothing will happen to you, I'll protect you forever, I swear.' I whispered, tears streaming down my eyes as Ladybug held my hands in hers.

'Hey...nothing will happen to me kitty, I promise.' she whispered, kissing my forehead as I wiped my tears hastily, looking away. 'Whatever happens, we are in this together. You and me against the whole world. Ok kitty?'
'That akuma, you vanished I-' I began.
Holding a finger to my lips she silenced me. We looked into each others eyes, teary eyed.
'We are in this together, no matter what.' she repeated. 'Promise?'
'Promise...' I whispered.

Crying, we kissed, holding each other close as the memories ebbed away, taking me back to reality.
*Flashback ends*
Ladybug POV:
I wrapped Chat around with my yo-yo, stopping him from moving. Sliding my hand up to his, I seized his miraculous, blocking hawkmoth from seeing who was under the mask. Adrien lay there, unable to move as I stood up, staring at his miraculous in awe.
'Hawkmoth...I-I did it.' I whispered.
'Excellent. I knew you would succeed Ladybug. Now I can achieve ultimate power and succeed in doing what I had always wanted to do most...' he growled, a hint of deep laughter shrouding his words.
I looked back at Adrien and released him. He fell onto the floor, looking up at me with teary eyes as I looked away, getting ready to go to Hawkmoth.
'Why did you do it?' he asked, pausing me from moving. 'Why didn't you let hawkmoth see who I was?'
I ignored him, fighting the the dreadful feeling of guilt forming in me as I walked away.
'You know how important our identities are don't you? You may be akumatised, but deep down Ladybug is there...my lady is there.' he whispered, walking closer to me.
Tears burned my eyes as I turned around, wiping them away angrily.
'You don't know anything about me alley cat...' I whispered as he walked closer.
Putting a shoulder on me, he pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around my waist. I only wanted to melt into his arms but refrained. I had to serve Hawkmoth.
'I know plenty about you my lady...you're trapped. You know what's right, don't you.?' he asked.
I looked away, avoiding eye contact as I tried to pull away from his grasp. But he wouldn't let go.
'I will never let go my lady. We are in this together, no matter what.'
The familiarity of the words struck me as I looked up at him, tears streaming down both our eyes as he took his miraculous from my hands, transforming in front of me. I didn't resist, lost in blurred memories as he kissed me. It wasn't just any normal kiss. It was a kiss impossible to describe.

Chat POV:
I broke the kiss as Ladybug shook her head, dazed. I hugged her tight as she gasped in shock quickly before hugging me back.
'What happened kitty?' she asked, looking at Dark Cupid, who was shooting people from above.
'No time to explain, let's get Dark Cupid first.' I replied, both of us leaping into action.
Once the akuma had been purified, we both detransformed, eating back to my house.
Marinette POV:
'I almost gave your miraculous to hawkmoth! And what happened next?' I asked, eager to listen to the story.
'Well, I reminded you of our promise and that turned you.' Adrien replied looking down at me.
I squeezed his hands in mine, smiling at him.
'I love you so much kitty.' I whispered, kissing his cheek.
