9:00 AM

Beomgyu POV

I open my eyes after what seems like an hour of sleep to the smell of....bacon?

I stretch my arms and yawn. I take my phone and check the time. "9:00 AM". I guess it's not that early, so I'll go downstairs in a few minutes after scrolling through Instagram a little bit.

I hear what seems to be people talking. Dad must be home, after all it's Sunday.

Yesterday I went out at like, 10PM because I was hungry but I really did not want to cook for myself because, you know, I'm lazy sometimes.

When we moved 2 days ago, I noticed there was a convenience store that takes approximately a 2 minute walk from home.

Home.

Well here isn't really my home, my home is Daegu but I guess I'll have to call Seoul my new home.

I also met someone at the store. I was surprised to even see someone except the cashier.

He was really nice to talk to and he was only one year older than me, so we got along really well.

He was the only person around and I'm new here so I told myself, "Why not talk to him? It won't hurt" and I don't regret my decision at all.

But the thing is.... we forgot to exchange numbers, so we can't really get in contact and my stupid brain forgot what the name of my futur school was. We even forgot to tell each other our names...

Also, he was wearing a bucket hat and you can never see the person's eyes with that, so I don't even know if I'll be able to recognize him. I hope I will be able to...

There is one thing I will for sure remember though: his lips. They looked very unique and were curved downwards.

Anyways.

Dad and Haneul must be talking downstairs, it's Sunday and he's almost always home on that day of the week.

My dad's name is Choi Jinwoo. He works at a company called BigHit and he works a lot. His only day off is Sunday, but even on that day he needs to do some paperwork and stuff like that sometimes, so he's practically always busy.

But I guess that's what you need to do if you want to live and give your family a good life. I'm not going to lie, my family is pretty well off, if not considered rich. I guess he gets paid a lot at his job. I'm very grateful to my father though.

Our new home is quite big. It has 4 rooms (my dad and Haneul's, mine and 2 extra guest rooms), my dad's working room, multiple bathrooms, a movie room, a gym room, a big pool (outside of course) and more, thanks to my amazing dad.
