Chapter 2: Love give me a sign

Days went to weeks to a month and Timmy is still missing together with the other 7 people that has not been rescued and assumed to have died of the tragedy. While Johnny, has spent his weekends traveling from one island to another island looking for his lover.

A month went to months and a year still no shadow of Timmy can be seen in any island.

Timmy's family sadly accepted that Timmy got drowned in the sea and died in the vast of coldness. In just a few days the anniversary of the tragedy they encounter will be commencing and it feels like hundreds of daggers striking Johnny's body and tearing it to pieces.

Johnny went to live his life for a year in misery. He didn't miss a day missing his love, Timmy. During the day, he diligently work his ass off but at night and he is alone in their love nest, the apartment where they live together since they officially announced their relationship to their close friends and some member of their family, he is silently crying his agonies. There are times he will come home drunk but most of the time he just drink at home to ease the pain of longing. To be able to sleep he got used to take sleeping pills.

"Ahhh!.... sob sob sob" Johnny shouted while crying and looking at their last picture before the tragedy a year ago happened.

He was able to save the pictures because he was able to keep his old phone during the sea mishap as he keeps it inside a transparent plastic phone holder. He has been longing his heart out for almost 12months and he can't move on. Deep in his heart Timmy is still alive and just right in the corner somewhere waiting to be found by him.

His moment was interrupted by a message. He clicked the chat head of his messenger. "The company will be holding an event to commemorate former-Director Xu's passing at the company hall next week. There will be a tribute for him. We hope that you can attend. The event will start at 6pm, on Tuesday." The message is from the company secretary where Timmy works before.

He knew that the company dearly loves Timmy because he knew from the start that its President, Mr. Gu Yang, had a one-sided love for Timmy. Timmy told him before because he noticed how sweet he is to him during the time that they're working. Timmy was always the one he brought to work outside of the company and overseas. Mr. Gu even confessed to Timmy his love for him but he declined for his true love, Johnny Huang.

The company held a tribute for Timmy after a month that the rescuers halted their works in the sea looking for survivors so this event is nothing that blow his mind. For him it must be that Gu Yang is missing Timmy too why he needs to go to this extent of celebrating a death anniversary for the company's ex-director.

"I will try to come if I went out of work early. You can just follow through with your tribute with or without me. This is your company's doing so it's not a matter for me that I must attend to though it's for my lover." Johnny replied.

Johnny swiped his messenger and clicked again on his gallery and takes a good look of Timmy's pictures one-by-one again. With a saddened and hurtful heart he keeps scrolling until tears fall again out from his eyes.

"How I wished you were here love. I missed you a lot. Can you please come back? I've been hurting for the past year. I can't take it anymore. I've been trying to mend this broken heart of mine but I still believe that you are still alive. I can feel it love. ..sob sob sob.. This little hope in my heart is what keeps me going Timmy.. Love... love... When are you coming back? I've been missing you." (Johnny non-stop scrolling Timmy's pictures... some are smiling, some are sulking, but most of it are Timmy sleeping because he loves Timmy when sleeping he feels like his love is an angel in a deep slumber)
