"Louis, my dearest friend! What brings you here?" Harry smiled widely as he rushed towards his best friend's carriage. Both lads embraced each other in a bone crushing hug and patted each other's backs.

"I yearned to see my old summer house and see how you and wonderful Amelia have settled down!" Louis smiled as he took a look at his fathers old mansion. He wanted to talk to Harry when he was interrupted by his coachman Liam.

"Sorry to intrude on your conversation, Mr. Tomlinson. But we're shall I take your luggage?" Liam said in a polite voice as he opened the baggage compartment.

"Take his luggage to the lobby. Mr. Earhart will show you the way to the grand apartments. They are special reserved for when Louis visits." Harry smiled and motioned for the main entrance of the mansion. To which Liam nodded and slowly started to carry his masters luggage.

"Tell me, old friend, how have you been?" Harry wrapped his hand around Louis shoulders as he led him to a glass gazebo in the rose garden.

They walked past the mansion and Louis eyes caught the small boy combing Spirits mane. He took a note of that, as he had never seen anybody else take care of that horse beside Harry and Alexander.

Louis smiled when he saw the gazebo. Underneath the glass roof of it, he shared his first kiss with lady Eleanor. The moonlight shone above their heads as their awkward hands explored each other's bodies in a way that their parents forbid them to ever touch another person.

"Thank you for keeping this antique instalment." Louis laughed as he sat on a beautifully carved metal bench.

"Well, I have heard a lot of stories of the magic that this gazebo has. I couldn't allow myself to tear it down." Harry joined Louis as both lads started to chatter about their life's, since they last saw each other few months ago.

"Beside the point. Tell me, young Harold. Who is that little boy attending your beloved Spirit?" Louis quirked his eyebrow at Harry and a small smirk ghosted on his lips. "If I recall properly, then even I, your best friend and oldest at that, couldn't approach Spirit for more than a half a year?"

"Well, I have changed my ways, dear Louis!" Harry felt his body temperature rising. He felt so bad and unholy. He couldn't let his friend know that his mind had kneeled the little boy on his knees in front of him so many times that he lost count of his dirty fantasies. "I understood that Alexander alone can't tend to all the horses. So I had to find somebody especially for Spirit."

"And assigning a boy that hasn't even come close to being a man, would be the best choice?" Louis knew when Harry was not being truthful. He has known the lad for as long as he can remember himself.

"See, William, that is the best choice. The boy is pure and willing to learn. He has taken a very good care of Spirit. My stallion has never looked so good." Louis watched a weird type of emotion flash in his friend eyes. Something was not right. "And not to be nosy, but your servant, the one who drove you here, he himself doesn't seem a day older then eighteen. Aren't you afraid to travel alone with a boy so young? You need proper protection, Louis."

"Thank you for caring, Harold. But I am well protected. See, Liam here, is very skilful and strong. He can protect me." Louis smiled with a mischievous smile and Harry laughed, well aware that Louis was no better then he was. But there was a difference, Louis was a free man and Liam was a grown up already.

"What does your father think about how skilful Liam is?" Harry laughed as Louis hit him with his riding gloves. "Are you challenging me to a duel? Did I offend your honour?"

Both lads started to laugh even more. They were so lost in their catching up that they didn't notice a pair of blue eyes watching their every movement. Niall rode on Spirits back as he took him out for a quick run.
