Weiss POV❄️

My body feels heavy. My memory was a bit hazy but the crash that occured with the bullhead, I felt pain like needles piercing through my skin. They stung and made me heave my breathe. I tried to open my eyes to see a figure hovering over me.

"Hey! Are you okay?!"

It was a girl's voice. When my vision finally cleared a bit more, worried brown eyes stared at me.

"Someone..!"

Then I lost consciousness again.

Lucy POV⭐

I finally arrived at Hargeon wondering if there's a magic shop in this town. The morning was cold but the sun was already up as I tried to cover the glare of sunrays with my hands. Deciding that I had to prioritise where I should stay for the night, I began inquiring every inn and hotels that my jewels could afford from my freelancing as a new mage. Turning to an alley for a shortcut that one of the townspeople pointed me to, I was startled by the sudden crash behind from where I just walked through.

'Something fell behind me?!'

I quickly turned with wariness but it was gone the moment I laid eyes on what actually fell. It was a girl with white hair in a blue dress lying in the ground, injured. A sword was in her hand that was glowing with white runes then dimmed immediately. Another source of light from the dark alleyway caught my attention and I saw a white symbol resembling a snowflake as it disappeared as well. My first thought was that the girl was a mage like I was.

She groaned in pain and I hurried to her side.

"Hey! Are you okay!?"

Her response was to groan again. She can barely open her blue eyes, a noticeable scar run across her left eye when I looked for other signs of pain. I can see she was trying to say something as her mouth opens. Suddenly, her eyes slowly closed again finally losing her consciousness.

"Somebody, help us!" I screamed, hoping that some passerby will hear me.

Fortunately, some worried townspeople even with how busy Hargeon was heard and helped me bringing the girl to a clinic. I'm still worried as to what happened to the girl. She is a mage right? That thing I saw was magic for sure.

After half an hour, the doctor exited the room telling me that the girl was stable and needed rest. With the permission that the girl can receive visitors I went inside the room to see her wide awake sitting up at her bed. She turns to me with a raised white brow when I opened the door. "Hi there. My name is Lucy. Are you feeling okay now?"

She looked confused morelike she's conflicted? She exhaled quite heavily from relief. "Thank you for saving me, Miss Lucy. I've been told you are the girl who found me." She smiles. "Can you tell me where on Remnant I am? That doctor told me we're in Hargeon in the Kingdom of Fiore. He mentioned Ishgar as well, which I'm unfamiliar with. But I don't seem to remember these places. It makes me think he was jesting. Am I not in Mistral?"

Wow, such a formal and polite way of speaking, she must be from a wealthy family. I hope she doesn't know me or my family for that matter. But her features reminds me somehow of someone.
