A black queen chess piece appeared on the screen after witnessing a horrid incident from two people she was fairly close to. One was someone she had heard on her younger days and became close friends with because of the same background, the other was someone she bumped into and became a close friend of her partner. The pieces of the latter's body was on the arena ground after the blow from the other.

She wasn't able to listen very well to the honeyed words of the woman who was now talking... All she could think of was her partner... Ruby... She was the only one in their team to have actually watched from the arena. She glanced to her other teammate who was glued at the screen. The woman continued to talk and all of the people around her was frozen in place.

She knew what was going to happen. But she couldn't move.

"... So I ask you, when the first shots are fired. Who do you think can you trust?"

Then everything went down.

Weiss POV❄️

That was an odd dream to have. Why on Remnant did it occur now of all times? This was the first time I have dreamed an event from Remnant. An unpleasant one as well. It is still fresh from my mind like it was yesterday even though it was over six months already.

Lucy was at my side as we entered the Magnolia station meeting up with the others. The only thing I could do was sigh remembering the dream I had. Looking up noticing two figures who were arguing, Lucy decided to jog towards the boys we are supposed to mediate into.

"Why does that monster Erza need our help?" Natsu glared at Gray.

"How would I know? Besides, if she does need 'help', I alone would be sufficient." Gray retorted.

"Then why don't you go by yourself!? I don't want to go!!!" Natsu argued as he hit a stall and headbutted against Gray.

"Fine then don't come!!! Get yourself killed by Erza afterwards!!" Gray argued back.

Lucy had enough and shouted at them. "You two are causing trouble, so just shut up!!" The other passengers who were walking near us glanced and avoided us.

"We're causing a scene right off the bat, great." I scowled.

Finally acknowledging our presence the boys turned to us perplexed. Natsu spoke breaking off the tension they were building up. "Why are you guys here anyway?"

I stepped forward to glare at the two. "Mira has asked us to be your mediators and if you two don't stop bickering like children, I'll make a gravity glyph so your heads are stuck to each other the entire trip!" At my threat Gray seemed to falter, until Natsu muttered something for Gray to headbutt him again.

This is infuriating. I pinched the bridge of my nose as I exhaled. Lucy then tapped my shoulder gesturing me to be quiet with a smirk. What is she going to do?

She turned back raising her hand to no one then yelled. "Ah! Erza, it's this way!!!"

Ah, very clever.

In that instance both boys were in their buddies mode.

"Let's be nice to each other!"

"Aye aye, sir!"

Lucy was holding her stomach in laughter. "Hahaha! This is funny!" The boys realized Lucy's trick and pointed at her. I couldn't suppress a grin at their priceless expression as they had been had.
